Classic route of Emei Mountain two-day tour

Chengdu-Guobao Temple-Jinding Scenic Area of Emei Mountain.

Guobao Temple is located in Fenghuangping under Emei Mountain in Emei City, Sichuan Province. It is one of the eight key temples in Emei Mountain and the largest temple in the mountain. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573- 16 19, 1620), it was originally named Huizong Hall, which means Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. 1983, Guobao Temple was designated by the people of China and the State Council as the national key Buddhist temple in the Han nationality area.

Guobao Temple covers an area of 40,000 square meters, sitting west to east, with Phoenix Fort in front, Phoenix Ping behind, Phoenix Lake on the left and Phoenix Pavilion on the right. Qing moved the capital here and rebuilt it in the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652). In the 42nd year of Kangxi (1703), it was renamed in Yao Lan and Si 'en.

Emeishan jinding scenic spot

Emei Mountain Scenic Area is the only scenic spot in China where there is only one road leading to the top of the mountain. In order to alleviate the cableway congestion in peak season, a new cableway leading to Jinding will be built in Emei Mountain. The number of tourists in Jinding Scenic Area accounts for 90% of the total number of tourists in Emei Mountain Scenic Area, and the number of tourists who take Jinding cableway from Jieyin Temple accounts for more than 80% of the total number of tourists in Jinding Scenic Area.

At present, Jinding owns a passenger ropeway (in use), a passenger-cargo ropeway (in use) and an abandoned freight ropeway (out of use). The ropeway of passenger dedicated line was rebuilt in 2006 and has been running continuously 16 years. The designed capacity of the two ropeways in Jinding is * * * 2,450 people per hour, but the actual capacity is only 2,000 people per hour. At the same time, due to the characteristics of mountain scenic spots, the concentration of tourist peak season and tourist time period has further aggravated the congestion and detention of tourists.
