Juewei Mountain 1

It is located in the west of Huyan Village, Chaicun Town, jiancaoping district City, Taiyuan City, with a north-south trend and an altitude of about 1400 meters. There are Qingfeng in the south and Feiyun in the north. The two peaks are tall and straight, and there is an east-west deep ditch in the middle, facing each other across the ditch, just like the gateway to the mountain. Looking down from the top of the mountain, the surrounding mountains spiral up and down, forming a huge whirlpool, like an inverted horn or a huge disk, hence the name "Sheng". Mount Juewei has steep terrain, lush pine and cypress, brilliant mountain flowers and red leaves all over Qiu Lai. "Rising red leaves" is one of the famous landscapes in Taiyuan. There are Duofu Temple and Seven Pagodas on the top of the mountain, and there are temple murals and floating mountain ink in the temple. Route: Go south, Binhe East Road, to the entrance of Huyan Village, and walk along the mountain road for one kilometer to the parking lot.

2. Mount Tai

Mount Tai is in the southwest of Taiyuan, to the west of Shitan in Jinyuan Town. There is a long and deep ravine called storm gully. Walking in from the storm ditch, there are two mountains, with the river beach in the middle. It ran along the beach for about 1 km until it reached the foot of Mount Tai. Looking up, the mountains are magnificent, green everywhere, streams are surging, the environment is elegant and the scenery is beautiful. The name "Mount Tai" was first seen in Song Shu by Liang, a writer in the Southern Dynasties. According to legend, there was a mountaineer "Shi Gandang" in the Five Dynasties, who was famous for his bravery in the Northern Han Dynasty. Even this mountain is famous, which means "Taishan Shi Gandang", hence the name Taishan.

3. Genting Mountain

Route: From Taiyuan, take Taigu Expressway to Gujiao Expressway exit, drive along S 104 to Loufan, see the sign of Yundingshan in Miyu Town, then turn right to Yundingshan archway and reach Fenhe Reservoir.

4. Tianlong Mountain

Tianlong Mountain is located 36 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan, with an altitude of 1700 meters, which is divided into two peaks. Tianlong Mountain was called Fangshan in ancient times, because Tianlong Temple was built on the mountain in the early Northern Qi Dynasty, and it was later renamed Tianlong Mountain. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful, and the seasons are like spring. Gao Huan, the powerful minister of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, opened a cave statue on the mountain and built a palace. After excavation in the Northern Qi Dynasty, Sui and Tang Dynasties, 2 1 grottoes in the east and west of the main peak of Tianlong Mountain were completed, forming a continuous 1 km grottoes group. While digging grottoes, various Buddhist temples were built one after another, with Tianlong Temple built in the Northern Qi Dynasty as the earliest, Thousand-Buddha Pagoda built in the Northern Han Dynasty as the most luxurious, and Manshan Pavilion built in the Ming Dynasty as the most magnificent. 5. Dongshan Wulong Suburb Forest Park

Mengshan is located in Sidi Village, about 20 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan and north of Jinci Temple. Main peak height1325m. "Mengshan xiao yue" is one of the eight scenic spots in Mount Tai. In the second year of Tianbao, Emperor Gao Yang of the Northern Qi Dynasty expanded the Dazhuangyan Temple in the Eastern Wei Dynasty into Kaihua Temple, and carved a 200-foot-high Cliff Buddha (about 63 meters according to the common proportion in the Tang Dynasty), which was only 8 meters lower than the 7 1 meter-long giant Buddha in Leshan, Sichuan, China, and 10 meter higher than the Bamiyan Giant Buddha in Afghanistan, which was previously called "the world's largest Buddha" by the West. It's called Xishan Buddha, which is higher than that in China now. When Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty built a new pavilion to cover the Buddha, Tang Gaozong and Wu Zetian came here to worship the Buddha and give them palace robes.

6. Monsanto

Gujiao Line Tianjiao East-West Line has a total length of16km, and its main peak is1.338m above sea level. It is famous for its strangeness and danger. A huge rock soared into the sky, forming a peculiar natural landscape. The narrow path of the mountain stream is the only way forward. 8. Erlong Mountain

Taohua Cave is located at the elevation of Taohua Mountain1900m. Bat Cave is located in the north of Taohua Mountain, 900 meters above sea level. The cave is very high and extends in all directions. The main cave is more than 70 meters deep and has six exits. Thousands of bats hang upside down at the top of the cave, like a string of black elves, crouching at night, which is very interesting. The cave walls and ceiling on the west side are natural murals, which are lifelike.
