Where does Jinjiang Reservoir Tourist Area belong?

Jinjiang Reservoir, located in Datian Town, enping city, is also called Hepai Reservoir because it was built at the source of Jinjiang River. This is a famous tourist attraction.

Jinjiang reservoir tourist area is divided into two parts, one is the reservoir area and the other is the Jinjiang hydropower station, with a total area of more than 300 square kilometers. Jinjiang Reservoir is a large-scale reservoir which is mainly used for irrigation and flood control, combined with comprehensive utilization of power generation, fish farming and improved shipping. The dam of the reservoir is a gravity dam made of granite and cement. It is 430 meters long and 64 meters high. From a distance, it looks like a ridge, which will stop the surging river. The rainwater collection area of the reservoir is 362 square kilometers, and it has the reputation of "the river discharges livestock water to accommodate whales".

There is a T-shaped tunnel at the dam bottom, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Tourists have another feeling in it. Standing on the dam, looking from a distance, a piece of green water is surrounded by green mountains on all sides. Looking down, the water overflowing the dam pours down and scatters silver flowers, which makes people feel elated. Of course, the most enjoyable thing is to visit the reservoir area by motorboat. In the endless green lake, the smoke washes the forest, the mountain scenery is blurred, and the boat swims in it, which is refreshing.

There is a farm with a total area of 654.38 million mu in the reservoir area, which is called Wanqing Comprehensive Farm. The field has more than 20,000 mu of virgin forest, with towering old trees. In addition, Baiyun tea, a rich mountain cloud tea in this field, is one of Enping's specialties, with good fragrance and is well known.
