Basic introduction to Zhanghu Scenic Area
Zhanghu Lake Scenic Area is a famous tourist destination for Taichung’s cultural landscape.
Zhanghu Scenic Area is located in Zhanghu Village, Gukeng Township, adjacent to Caoling Scenic Area, Qingshui Creek to the north, and Dajianshan, a famous mountain in the county, to the south. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery, it is an emerging scenic spot.
The main scenic spots in this area include the Millennium Sacred Tree, Shanhaiguan Pass, Longfeng Waterfall, Zhanghu Mountain and the dense sea scallop fossil belt about 200 to 500 years ago. The scenery is all natural. Strange rock cliffs, streams and waterfalls.
