Time allocation for CET-6 exam
The time allocation for the CET-6 exam is as follows:
The reasonable allocation method for the CET-6 exam is: 30 minutes for the writing part, 30 minutes for the listening part, 40 minutes for reading comprehension, and 40 minutes for the translation part. (Chinese to English) 30 minutes.
Writing lasts for 30 minutes and can only be done in advance but not later. It takes about 2 minutes to review the topic, formulate the idea, and make sure not to let the article go off topic. Another 3 minutes is spent to roughly conceive and write the framework of the article. With 25 minutes left, start writing. Be careful not to misspell words.
Before starting the listening session, be sure to browse the questions or dialogue options. Read the passage and understand the questions first, so as not to lose focus when listening. The important thing is to fill in the options on the answer sheet while doing the questions. Because there is no extra time for you to fill in the paint.
Two detailed readings and one translation. In general, time is still a bit tight, so you should choose what you are good at first, or do it in the order of your usual training. It is recommended to spend 5 minutes on selecting 10 out of 15, 15 minutes on information matching questions, 30 minutes on detailed reading (15 minutes each), and 20 minutes on translation.
2. The best order of questions for CET-6
First, writing. The trick is to memorize the template.
For example, with the title ?How?to?Improve?Students'Mental?Health?, the template is as follows:
(1)?____?is?very?important?in?____ .?In?order?to?____,?____?can?observe?the?following?three?disciplines.
(2)?To?begin?with,?____?should?____.? In?addition,?____?should?____.?Last?but?not?least,?____?must?____.?Besides,?____?should?____.
(3)?In? general,?____.
Second, listening. The trick is to listen more, practice more, and categorize and summarize.
For example, some listening sessions are about course selection, travelling, biography, crime, appointment, etc.
For listening on the same topic, many of the keywords are similar or the same. Summarizing more will not only help you understand, but also help you get it right.
Third, Cloze. The trick is to not only memorize words but also analyze sentence structures.
For example, if the sentence lacks a subject, consider choosing a noun (noun); if it lacks a predicate, consider choosing a verb; if it lacks a modifier, consider choosing an adjective (adjective) and an adverb (adverb). Some sentences are also missing Preposition (preposition) as a link, etc.
Fourth, reading. The trick is to look for answers while looking at the questions and articles. Except for comprehensive questions, the answers to general questions appear in the article in order.
Fifth, translation. The trick is to use simple words and sentence patterns to express accurate meaning while understanding the differences between Chinese and English.
