Jiuquan Manned Space Launch Site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, also known as "Dongfeng Space City", is one of the three largest space launch sites in the world, referred to as JSLC. It is one of the launch test bases of China scientific satellite, technical test satellite and launch vehicle. It belongs to the former General Armament Department of China People's Liberation Army, and now it belongs to the Strategic Support Force.
Baikonur manned space launch site: Baikonur space launch site is the largest Soviet/Russian test base for launching spacecraft and missiles. It is located in Arda, Qizil, southwest of Kazakhstan, 45km west of Aral Sea, 288km north of Baikonur town and 24km south of Chulatan city.
Kennedy Manned Space Launch Site: The Kennedy Space Center, located on Merritt Island on the east coast of Florida, was established in July 1962. It is the most important place for NASA to test, prepare and launch manned and unmanned spacecraft. Its name is in memory of the late American President John F. Kennedy.
