Chaan park
Cha 'an is a famous scenic spot in the suburb of Jiangmen. Located at the foot of Wumagui Gucao Mountain in Waihai Town, Jianghai District, it is about 10 km away from the urban area. This is a good place with beautiful scenery. According to legend, thich nhat hanh, an astronomer and monk in the Tang Dynasty, visited Lingnan to observe the sky and draw a star map. He lives in a cottage and lives by growing tea. The hut was named "Tea Temple".
Zhang Sui (682-727 AD) was a great astronomer in ancient China, who was as famous as Zu Chongzhi, Zhang Heng and Li Shizhen. A group of eminent monks devoted their lives to the study of astronomy and geography and roamed the country. In the early years of Shenlong in Tang Zhongzong, he had been to Xinhui County and loved five horses along the coast, so he set up a Mao 'an at the foot of the mountain to stay at night, watch the sky at night, draw a star map and study astronomy, geography and meteorology in depth.
People near Cha 'an admire the knowledge and manners of a group of eminent monks. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a scholar named Chen Wude in the open sea, who highly praised the fame and merit of a group of eminent monks. He proposed to build a brick temple as a permanent memorial. This temple is named after the small residence of a group of eminent monks. From then on, "Cha'an Temple" got its name and has been passed down to this day.
Not far from the front of Cha 'an Temple, stands an antique archway engraved with the four characters "Little Zhu Mingdong". It turns out that "Zhu Mingdong" is a famous scenic spot in Luofu Mountain. People think that this place can be compared with the "Zhu Mingdong" in Luofu Mountain, and it has its own quiet and elegant characteristics, so it is called "Little Zhu Mingdong". There are two Chinese characters "Buddha country" on the back of the memorial archway. When tourists come here, they will suddenly feel that they have entered a peaceful and peaceful Buddhist realm.
There is a well not far from the "Zhu Xiao Mingdong" archway, and next to it stands a stone tablet engraved with the words "the first spring in Longxi". This is the famous "leafless well". According to legend, this well was dug by a group of eminent monks. The diameter of the well is over one foot, and the depth of the well is over five feet. The spring water is clear and sweet, and making tea with this water is sweet and delicious. This well is also unique: the wellhead is covered with dense branches, but no dead leaves can float into the well, so it is called "leafless well". Further up is the "Cha'an Temple", and there are couplets on both sides of the temple gate, which say, "There are no trees in the three methods of enlightenment and interpretation, and there are holes in the tea planting days." In the middle of the door cabinet, the word "Tea Hall" is engraved with beautiful and dignified handwriting. Entering the temple from the main entrance and leaving the garden gate to the right, a mallet said, "People sit on bamboo trees in the spring breeze, and guests come here for tea in the rain." On the steps in front of the left side of the temple, there stands a full-length portrait of a real monk for tourists to admire. On the right slope in front of the temple, there is a "Kesi Pavilion", which is a memorial place for a group of eminent monks to grow tea. There is a stone tablet on the side of the pavilion, engraved with the words "Tang and his entourage grow tea". Further on, there is a "moon-watching pavilion", where a group of eminent monks observe the celestial phenomena every night. From 65438 to 0983, Jiangmen Municipal People's Government opened up and built Cha'an Temple into a large-scale "Tea Temple Park". In front of the park, there is a boulder of nearly ten tons, and the word "Tea Temple" is engraved below it as a sign of the scenic spot.
Waihai wumiao
The surname of Waihai Town is mostly Chen. In the tenth year of Yuan Dynasty (1350), Chen's ancestors moved to the open sea to settle down. It has been more than 600 years since now. The Chen family has a large population and has produced many generations of talents. The nickname "Longxi" in the open sea was also taken by Chen to commemorate taking refuge in Longxi Mountain in Zhangzhou, Fujian.
Once upon a time, there were many ancestral temples in the open sea, the most magnificent of which was "Chen Wugong Temple in Waihai Town", which was located at the foot of Hongni Mountain in the east of Waihai, so many villagers called it "Dongtou Ancestral Temple".
The five ancestral halls of Chen are the ancestral halls of Chen in the offshore area. They were built in the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, and the five ancestral halls are closely connected in rows, with extraordinary momentum. Chen Gong Temple in Shen Yin is located at the foot of Hongni Mountain, with Quanshi Temple and Yun Xuan Temple on the right, Taoxi Temple and Dingxi Temple on the left.
Waihai wumiao
The ancestral hall covers an area of about 465,438+000 square meters. It is built in parallel, with a single eaves and a hard roof, a green glazed tile edge, and a combination of lifting beams and crossing buckets. It maintains a distinctive architectural artistic style of the Qing Dynasty, with grand scale, grand modeling, rigorous layout, rigorous and elegant structure, and symmetrical layout with Yin Xinchong Temple as the central axis. There are many stone archways inside and outside the ancestral hall, and long couplets are hung on huge columns, which record the merits and demerits of ancestors. The ancestral hall is carved with beams and painted with buildings, and the decoration is gorgeous, all of which reflect the exquisiteness, complexity and artistic style of Qing architecture.
During the Cultural Revolution, these five temples were destroyed, but happily, their overall architectural style was well preserved. In 2000, the municipal government listed it as a municipal cultural relics protection unit; In April 2002, the district government handed over five temples to the Waihai Town Government for management and use. In order to protect cultural relics and turn these five temples into cultural positions and tourist attractions, the Waihai Town Committee and the town government have carried out many repairs to restore them to their original appearance. The newly built square in front of the five shrines has now become a good place for people at sea to play.
Former Residence of Chen Shaobai
Chen Shaobai's former residence is located in Nanhuali, Waihai Town, Jianghai District, Jiangmen City. Designed by Chen Shaobai himself. The former residence is divided into two places, facing each other across the river and connected by a bridge. On one side of the bridge is the "white garden" and on the other side is the "three-in-one courtyard" residence. Founded in 1929 and built in 193 1, it covers an area of two acres. Since Bai Shao's death, his family has been living in other places, and his buildings have been in disrepair for a long time, showing signs of decline gradually. 199 1 in the spring of, Waihai Town Government allocated a huge sum of money to restore Baiyuan, the buildings such as Shaluoping, porridge pot pavilion and Zhanyuntai in the park, and the Sanhe Courtyard and Yazi Building in the courtyard, and set up the Chen Shaobai Deeds Exhibition Hall in the former residence. Restore the former residence to its original appearance and rejuvenate it.
Li Le xiangdong flowers and plants
Lille has been planting peach blossoms and chrysanthemums in Xiangdong Village for more than 20 years, about 1, 980. The Chen brothers introduced peach blossoms and chrysanthemums from Fangcun, Guangzhou, and initially launched relatives to try planting. Later, other villagers also planted flowers. Now, every family grows flowers. There were few flowers sold in the city at that time. As flowers are planted eastward, more flowers are supplied to the urban areas, and more and more people arrange flowers. At first, the villagers had to sell flowers in several major markets in Jiangmen. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the supply and demand of flowers are also increasing. For the convenience of the citizens, the government built the Winter jasmine market, which experienced the central market (now the market behind the People's Hospital) and the Penglai Winter jasmine market (now the intersection of the children's park and the gymnasium) and so on. Diligent villagers in the east constantly expand the sales of flowers. From Xinhui, Kaiping, Enping and Taishan to Zhongshan and Zhuhai, the sales network has been continuously expanded, and the provinces, Hong Kong and Macao producing and selling flowers have become the peach blossom village with good reputation in Wuyi.
Because Li Le is located in the plain beside Liuxi River, the land is fertile and soft, which is suitable for the growth of peach trees. Therefore, the longer the peach trees grow, the more gorgeous they become, and they gradually become an indispensable "role" in the Spring Festival market. The peach blossoms in Xiangdong Village have bright colors, long flowering period, large flowers, many pistils and overlapping petals, which are very beautiful. Every Spring Festival, it has become a custom for citizens to buy a peach blossom ready to go, bring home the full spring feeling and express their best wishes for fruitful and sweet love in the new year.
