Planning of Tiaoshun Island

What will Zhanjiang’s urban construction look like in the next five years? Recently, the author learned from the Municipal Urban Planning Bureau that our city will speed up the planning and construction of central cities and further strengthen the construction of public service systems. Among them, Tiaoshun Island, which is mainly industrial, will be "transformed" into an ecological city mainly focused on leisure and tourism, becoming the "Pearl of the Orient" in Zhanjiang.

Tiaoshun Island, which is dominated by industry and port industry, will gradually transfer the ports and industries on the island, relocate Tiaoshun Power Plant and the third area terminal of Zhanjiang Port Group, and make use of the ecological resources and location advantages of Tiaoshun Island. Integrate land resources, guide its development into an ecological city focused on residence and leisure tourism, build an urban complex in Zhanjiang's northern bay area, and create Zhanjiang's "Oriental Pearl".
