Beijing, 9 June (Reporter He Yong): Standing at Guangli Gate of the Temple of Heaven, from a distance, the high altar wall extends to the north and east without any cover. On June 8, when the third Cultural and Natural Heritage Day came, the former Beijing Garden Machinery Factory in the southwest corner of Tiantan Park passed by. Beijing, 9 June (Reporter He Yong): The tall altar wall extends to the north and east without any cover. This is the first time that the area has been opened to tourists in the past 70 years, so the Temple of Heaven Park has added 3.2 hectares of new attractions.

The Temple of Heaven was built in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1420). It is an important place for emperors to worship heaven and pray for blessings in Ming and Qing dynasties, and it is also the most complete preserved architectural complex to worship heaven so far. According to reports, the machinery factory is within the core protection scope of the world cultural heritage of the Temple of Heaven, including the inner altar wall of the Temple of Heaven, Guanglimen, Yulu Road and other historical heritage. 195 1 year, the original garden machinery repair shop of Beijing Garden Machinery Factory was established here. In 2007, after the Beijing Garden Machinery Factory was abolished, it was placed in Tiantan Park, and its buildings have been preserved for use as office buildings. In line with the overall application of Beijing's central axis, Tiantan Park completed the evacuation of residents in the park's core tourist areas such as the Garden Machinery Factory last year, and carried out environmental renovation and cultural relics restoration in the evacuation area of the Garden Machinery Factory. On April 2, 2002, the renovation project of Guanglimen and Nantan Wall in the Temple of Heaven was officially started.

According to reports, the Temple of Heaven, as an altar temple, has always been regulated by "at home and abroad" in history, and the trees planted in the altar require a certain distance, which is called "instrument tree". Therefore, when greening a large blank area after demolition, the park regularly plants evergreen cypresses in rows every 5 meters, and blends them with the original green landscape around it, creating an altar style of "offering jade to heaven" and a broad artistic conception of "worshipping the suburbs", which embodies the ancient people's idea of advocating nature and pursuing "harmony between man and nature".

According to the promise of the Tiantan World Heritage Application 1998, the ancient altar will be restored in 2030. At the same time, the Temple of Heaven is one of the 14 heritages on the central axis and two world cultural heritages. Beijing will strengthen the protection of cultural relics in the Temple of Heaven, restore the original appearance of the Temple of Heaven at an early date, realize its integrity and authenticity, help the central axis to apply for heritage, and make the gold business card of Beijing's historical and cultural city more shining.
