Taiyuan Yuci Intercity Transportation

The intercity railway project from Taiyuan to Yuci District of Jinzhong City (Renmin South Road-Huancheng East Road) is built along the east-west main passenger flow passage from the south of Taiyuan City to Yuci District of Jinzhong City, covering the new town in the south of Taiyuan and the main urban area of Yuci District. The construction of the project will mainly undertake the passenger transportation tasks of passenger distribution points such as southern Taiyuan, Shanxi Science and Technology Innovation City, western Yuci and old Yuci. Therefore, the project construction will be connected with the north-south main passenger flow corridor in Taiyuan and the east-west main passenger flow corridor in Yuci District.

Yu Tai intercity railway starts from Renmin South Road Station, the first phase of Taiyuan Metro Line 2 in the west, turns eastward after leaving the station, is laid along the planned road, turns northeast to container freight station, and goes along Yingbin Street, with a total length of 19.85438+0 km, mainly overhead lines. At the beginning, 8 stations were opened, 5 stations were reserved, a parking lot was reserved and a depot was set up.

Taiyuan and Yuci conducted a thorough investigation on their respective traffic conditions.
