I. Twin Towers Dam

From Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, drive along expressway 167 km to Gaizhou Station. You take National Highway 305 through Xiaoshipong, Dashipong, Wanfu and Guiyunhua, then take Tongjuxia Line 305 and pass through two tunnels of Tongpi Line. It is about 20 kilometers away from the location of Biliuhe Reservoir Management Bureau. Because it is close to the Twin Towers, it is used to be called Twin Towers Dam. Located in the lower reaches of the reservoir, the waters are deep and wide, and the fish situation is poor, so few people patronize it. From here, you can take a boat to Zhao Biao ditch, Qian Fang, Denggou and Mawei Yangjiaogou. These fishing spots are distributed in Gouwan, so you can choose fishing spots according to the changes of seasonal water conditions. This autumn, a fisherman stayed in Denggou for 10 days and caught more than 500 kilograms.

There is a bridge from Jiantang to the south, and a sand road on the left passes through two natural villages to reach fishing spots such as Houfang and Caidian. Behind the house is the fork of a river, about 10 Li from the source of the river to the main channel. There are many fishing places. We can hire local villagers' boats to find fishing spots in suitable waters according to seasonal changes. In the flood season, we caught more than 100 kg of big fish in two days. Caidian is a ditch fork, where you can see the Twin Towers Dam. Biliuhe Reservoir was the only place open when it was closed. I have been there four times, and I have gained a lot every time. A fisherman once caught a 1500g mandarin fish with a pole here, which caused an uproar. It's just that the traffic here is inconvenient, there is no way to the library, and the car can only be parked on the mountain, so few people come here to fish.

Take National Highway 305 and cross Wanfu for 26 kilometers to Guiyunhua. The most obvious sign is the Gela River Bridge, which is the downstream of the reservoir, where you can reach Ling Gang, Lintun, Orchard, Cage and Huxian Cave. The ridge fishing area is close to the main river. People have been fishing here for many years. Long-term nesting has formed a good fishing spot, and fishermen gather the most. In July this year, a fisherman caught a 25 kg grass carp here, which became the largest single tail weight of Biliuhe Reservoir. Everyone who has been there knows that all the fishing spots here have been divided into territories by local villagers, and they can only go fishing if they receive their paid services. Huxiandong area is a good place to distribute leaflets. This summer, we fished here for a day and a night, using sapphire rice as bait, and caught more than 50 Wuchang fish weighing more than 500 g in one breath.

If you cast the last 4 shots and the next shot, you need to buy another ticket. It is clearly stipulated in the reservoir that silver carp, bighead carp, grass carp and Wuchang, whose weight is less than 1 kg, are not allowed to catch with nets. Managers patrol the reservoir area with motorboats every day.

Biliuhe Reservoir is the best reservoir for water resources protection in Liaoning Province. The fish is delicious and rich in resources, which is definitely a rare fishing paradise for fishermen.

4. Fishing in Biliuhe Reservoir

Fishing is generally not allowed in Emerald Reservoir. There are many types of reservoirs. Fishing is not allowed in reservoirs usually related to drinking water, and fishing in privately contracted reservoirs is not allowed without permission. In addition, there are some cases where fishing is not allowed, such as temporary control due to fishing ban or drowning, and the use of some reservoirs to raise some experimental economic fish. In order to prevent the experimental effect from being destroyed, fishing is not allowed.
