Java Surprise (XIII) Indonesian Minipark (I)

Grass-roots influence new vision Xiao Xiake (travel talent)

Indonesia Mini Park (TMII) is a cultural and leisure park located in the suburb of East Jakarta, covering an area of 250 acres (65,438+0.0 square kilometers). You can appreciate the outline of Indonesian culture from the park, covering 26 provincial pavilions in Indonesia, such as the Central Java Pavilion, Bali Pavilion and Jakarta Pavilion. Each district has local traditional buildings and local unique plants. In addition, there is a lake in the center of the park, which is shaped like a miniature map of Indonesia. You can visit the "Indonesia Islands" by boat, or you can take a cable car, a small train or a carriage to travel all over the country and appreciate the scenic features of Indonesia. There are cultural performances such as costumes and dances in the park, as well as local food, especially on weekends and public holidays, so you can fully experience Indonesia. There are also museums, libraries, video centers, children's palaces and children's playgrounds, where teenagers can learn traditional music and dance regularly. TMII has been designated as an International Civilization Park and a World Peace Theme Park. Because I went there on Monday, there were not many tourists in the park, so I hardly saw performances and local food, but I could still enjoy the representative buildings of various provinces. I thought it would be scaled down like Taoyuan Lilliputian Scenic Area or Shenzhen splendid china Miniature Scenic Area. However, after visiting the scenic spot, I found that all the buildings are not "miniature", but are built according to the physical scale of one to one, so that we can better experience the characteristics and grandeur of the actual buildings. Because there are few Chinese introductions about TMII on the Internet, it will be introduced in detail in seven articles. Interested readers can also learn more about TMII on the official website and translate Indonesian into Chinese through Google.

Get off on the way back to Jakarta from Bogor Railway Station. So it's past one o'clock in the afternoon, and I want to take a taxi, but I found that there is no taxi at the station, but there are many robbers who can call a taxi directly. When you go out for a self-help tour, you should be assured of transportation and food, so it is very happy to have a motorcycle to ride. As for the lunch of the day or the ordinary restaurant after entering the park, just order Indonesian chicken leg rice, which is a simple solution. When Grab got off at TMII Gate, the gate was connected with a road, and there were four golden arches on the beam and column. Careful observation of the decorative surface shows that there are many decorative patterns, showing that a lion's head appears at the apex of each arch, much like the traditional lion's head in China. Thus, the lion should also be an auspicious animal in Indonesia, because this totem can often be seen in parks and throughout Java. The difference is that the lion's head has no lower forehead, and it is engraved with seven front teeth, two left and right front teeth and nine * * *. After entering this door, there is a ticket entrance, which can be entered at a very cheap price. You can also see a gate to control vehicles, like three big birds with wings spread, with TMII logo on it.

Further on, you will see a square, which is a place for large-scale activities in the park. In the center of the square, there is a building imitating the Independence Monument. Although it is not as high as the national monument, it is not mini. There is also a stage to celebrate the National Day in the square. Behind the square is a square building, with a black protrusion above the center of the red roof, like a building wearing a hat. There are tall embossed walls on both sides of the building, and the stories of Indonesia's war of independence are carved on the walls. In front of this building, you can see two auspicious statues in the garden restaurant of Bogor Botanical Garden. At the entrance of the building, there is a statue of the first lady of Suharto, the second president of Indonesia. She is considered a close friend and political adviser to the president. This statue will appear here. It can be seen that the first lady should have made great contributions to the construction of TMII before commemorating her. Later, she came to the Indonesian Museum in the park and found that it was also promoted by her.

A large modern building can be seen behind the building that bypasses this square. I guess this is TMII's office building and a rare modern building in the park. The building is inaccessible, but you can see two rows of wooden totem poles on the grass under the roof of the top floor of the building. Take a closer look, it looks very similar to the rattan I saw in the "Art ceramics museum" in the ancient city of Jakarta the night before, but there are rattan beside this modern building, which shows that this kind of rattan plays an important role in Indonesian culture, just like when you travel to Canada, you will see rattan of Indian Indians in important scenic spots. What's more, these rattan bamboos are mainly animals rather than people, such as big birds, big snakes (dragons), etc. Most of the animals have ferocious expressions. In particular, these snake-like animals have similar shapes to dragons, such as big mouths, big protruding eyes and slender claws. But the horns of Indonesian snakes are not very prominent. I am glad to see the unique rattan and bamboo in Indonesia in TMII. This is only the first article in TMII series, and it will be more rewarding to move on.

Opposite this modern building, I saw a square pavilion with a gray roof, built on a high platform, with different statues and lovely lions along the stairs. It can be seen that both Indonesian lions and China lions have the function of ward off evil spirits. An exquisite model of Yogyakarta Borobudur Tower is placed in the center of this exhibition hall, which is an important Indonesian monument. After all, it is an important cultural heritage in Indonesia, and it is impossible to copy one in TMII, so it can only be displayed through models. Throughout the park, the buildings are almost one to one, which is a rare example. However, building an exquisite pavilion for this stupa model to show it shows its position in Indonesian history and architecture.

Because TMII Park is really big, here are two maps of the park, one from Wikipedia and the other from the map bulletin board in the park. There are too many internal buildings, so the text description of the map is quite small, and it is displayed in English or Indonesian. Interested readers can enlarge the translation, so as to better understand Citroen before visiting the park. From Google Maps, we can see that there is a lake in the middle of the park, and there are many small islands in the lake. Initially, these islands were used to show the distribution and shape of islands on the map of Indonesia. There is also a cable car to see this huge three-dimensional model from the air. Unfortunately, I know TMII of two legs, so I didn't notice the map of Indonesia that appeared in this lake. Please don't miss it. TMII shows the architectural art of Indonesia, so this series will introduce it in seven articles, so that you can have a deeper understanding of the architectural art and culture of Indonesia.
