What procedures do you need to complete when traveling to Pakistan?
Apply for a visa. Chinese citizens leaving and entering the country must apply for passports or other travel documents in accordance with the law.
First of all, according to the China-Pakistan Agreement:
1. Chinese citizens going to Pakistan and holding ordinary diplomatic, service, and business passports are exempt from visa requirements.
2. Traveling to Pakistan with a private passport requires a visa. Chinese citizens traveling to Pakistan for private purposes must apply for a visa at the Pakistani Embassy in China before entering the country. A valid passport, health certificate and personal photo should be submitted when applying for a visa.
3. A single-entry visa is valid for 3 months. A repeat visa is valid for 3 months at a time. The total validity period does not exceed 1 year. The visa can only be used within 6 months from the time of issue.
4. A business visa requires a letter of guarantee, and those engaged in business activities can obtain a multiple-entry visa valid for 6 months.
For Chinese citizens who apply to go to Pakistan for private matters, the applicant's relatives in Pakistan must first apply to local administrative officials in Pakistan and provide guarantees, and then the local authorities report to the Ministry of the Interior for approval. If the application is approved, the Ministry of Home Affairs will notify the Pakistani Embassy in China, and the Embassy in China will issue an entry visa to the Chinese citizen accordingly.
5. Chinese citizens who go to Pakistan to visit relatives for private purposes can also apply directly to the Pakistani Embassy in China, but they must provide a financial guarantee letter from their relatives in Pakistan. The letter of guarantee must be authenticated by the Pakistani Notary Public and stamped and approved by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Interior or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before it is valid. The Embassy of Pakistan in China will issue a visa to the applicant based on this financial guarantee letter. Those who go to Pakistan to visit relatives must fill out two visa application forms in English and submit two photos. Family visit visa is valid for 1 year.
Visa fees (the price changes with the exchange rate, the following is for reference only)
There is no visa fee for Chinese citizens applying for various types of visas to Pakistan.
Materials required for visa application
1. Fill in the complete visa application form.
2. Copy of ID card.
3. Two passport photos taken.
4. An invitation letter from Pakistan confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (must be the original).
5. Confirmation letter of travel arrangements in Pakistan issued by a travel agency or relevant department.
6. Proof of property of the visa applicant.
7. Leave approval certificate issued by the visa applicant’s employer.
8. Private owners must issue a letter on the company’s letterhead.
9. Round-trip air tickets or proof of relevant land transportation travel arrangements.
10. Residents of the consular district.
Chinese Passport:
The Passport of the People's Republic of China is issued by the Chinese government to Chinese citizens for their entry and exit, travel or residence outside the country (territory). Documents proving their nationality and identity are divided into: diplomatic passport, official passport, ordinary passport and SAR passport. For individual (group) travel, you only need to apply for an ordinary passport. The validity period of an ordinary passport does not exceed ten years, and the replacement procedure can be completed 6 months before the expiration date. The destination countries for outbound travel generally require passports to be valid for more than 6 months.

First-time application: 200 yuan/book; Renewal: 220 yuan/book (including replacement and annotation fees); Reissue after invalidation: 220 yuan/book (including (reissue and apostille fee); stolen or damaged reissue: 220 yuan/book (including reissue and apostille fee); lost reissue: 420 yuan/book (including reissue and apostille fee); reissue: 20 yuan/book .

Article 9 Chinese citizens shall apply for entry and exit in accordance with the law Passport or other travel document.
Chinese citizens traveling to other countries or regions also need to obtain a visa or other entry permit from the country of destination. However, this does not apply unless the Chinese government has signed a mutual visa exemption agreement with the governments of other countries or if the Ministry of Public Security or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides otherwise.
Chinese citizens who enter or exit the country as seafarers or work on foreign ships must apply for a seafarer's certificate in accordance with the law.
Article 11 When a Chinese citizen exits or enters the country, he or she must submit his or her passport or other travel documents and other exit and entry documents to the entry-exit border inspection agency for inspection. .
At qualified ports, entry-exit border inspection agencies should provide dedicated channels and other convenient measures for Chinese citizens to exit and enter the country.
