Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is located in the north of Sichuan Province, China. The domain spans east longitude10346' ~1044'; North latitude 32 54' ~ 3319'. It belongs to Jiuzhaigou County (formerly Nanping County) in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Named after nine Tibetan villages in the ditch: Lotus Leaf, Panya, Yala, Jianpan, Heiguo, Shuzheng, Zechawa, Rexi and Guodu. Jiuzhaigou is 435 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. There are direct buses and planes from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. The bus ride from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou is about 10- 12 hours, and the flight ride is 40 minutes.

When tourists travel to Jiuzhaigou, most of them choose to leave Chengdu for Jiuzhaigou. Foreign tourists usually need to gather in Chengdu first. After arriving in Chengdu, you can join the local Jiuzhaigou tour group in Sichuan or take a bus (plane) to Jiuzhaigou scenic spot.
