What should I bring to Thailand?
The following items should be brought when traveling to Thailand:
1. Passport and other documents
Passport is more important than ID card when traveling abroad. Passport, ID card, air ticket, e-ticket travel itinerary, hotel reservation confirmation, etc. should be prepared.
2. Daily necessities
Bring your own daily necessities, such as toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers, which are not available for tourists in Thai hotels. If necessary, you can bring daily skin care products such as skin care products and sunscreen.
3. Camera
A digital camera or a SLR camera should be taken to Thailand to take photos and leave unforgettable memories. You can prepare a carry-on bag and take the camera with you.
4. Clothing
Because of the hot climate in Thailand, the average minimum temperature in Bangkok is 2℃. When traveling to Thailand, you don't need to bring thick clothes, but you can bring skirts, shorts, short sleeves, etc. And by the way, you can bring some thin shirts and trousers. In some occasions, you should change into trousers if you are not allowed to wear shorts.
5. Money
Consider bringing RMB, US dollars, VISA, Master and UnionPay cards. When shopping in Thailand, it is best not to swipe your credit card when you go out, and bring at least RMB 3, or other equivalent currency when you go out to prevent the local immigration bureau from conducting random checks. Change a part of Thai baht in China, generally with a face value of 2B, or RMB in 5 yuan.
