Recommended one-day tour routes in Fuzhou
As the capital city of Fujian, Fuzhou has developed well in recent years, and many people come here to travel. But when you are short of time and you only have one day in Fuzhou, how do you plan it? Today I would like to share with you a travel guide for a one-day trip to Fuzhou. Come and take a look!
Gushan
Gushan is a 4A attraction. Usually there are not many tourists, and most of the people who climb up are local residents. Instead of taking the bus directly to the bottom of the scenic spot, you have to go to the bus station first and then walk about 800 meters to get there. The scenery in the mountains is really great, and the scenery has its own special effects. When you reach the top of the mountain, you will experience that the other mountains seem dwarfed by the sky. Yes, overlooking the city panorama. There is a cable car in Gushan, walking or driving, except for the cable car. Gushan is not very high, but you can enjoy the panoramic view of Fuzhou very well. Starting from Xiazhai at the foot of the mountain, there is a seven-mile road with seven pavilions and more than two thousand steps on the ancient road, with stone carvings all the way. This is the biggest attraction of climbing Gushan. Perfect for a day trip.
Three Lanes and Seven Alleys
The tour guide told me that the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys originated in the Jin Dynasty, developed in the Tang and Five Dynasties, and reached their peak in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient pattern of Fangxiang remains basically intact, and it is the only living fossil of the Li Fang series in China. Starting from the late Tang Dynasty, these streets and alleys gradually became a place where dignitaries and literati gathered. The gathering of celebrities should be said to be the main reason why Sanfang Qixiang is famous. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, there emerged a large number of figures who had an important influence on China's modernization process, such as Lin Zexu, Shen Baozhen, Yan Fu, Lin Juemin, and Bing Xin. It's been called a "modern celebrity residence."
Remind everyone that Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is not a completely free place. There are several outstanding buildings and former residences of celebrities that require a fee. You can buy tickets individually or jointly: 120 RMB, half price with student ID. The scenery at night is beautiful. Wander the alleys and experience the life of Fuzhou people. Most of the former residences of celebrities and characteristic buildings, alleys and cafes in Sanfangqixiang are located. It is good to have a cup of Buck's coffee when you are tired from shopping.
The attractions here include: Waterside Theater, Xiaohuang Building, Lin’s Former Residence, Yan Fu’s Former Residence, Liu Family Courtyard, Former Residence, Guo Baiyin’s Former Residence, Yan Family Flower Hall, You’s Former Residence, Temple, Liu Qixian’s Former Residence, Art Museum ( Guanglu Yintai Green Brick Building). Tickets are free for those over 70 years old.
Jinshan Temple
The Jinshan Temple in Fuzhou is also suitable for a day trip. Jinshan Temple is small and exquisite, built on the edge of the Min River. According to locals, the Golden Mount Temple is like a small boat during the rainy season, standing still in the rapid torrent. It is said that no matter how high the river rises, it will never reach the ground of Jinshan Temple. It is also the only water temple in Fuzhou. Jinshan Temple does not charge entrance fees, but you have to take a boat there, which costs 5 yuan for a round trip.
According to folklore, there is a turtle that has been raised for thousands of years under the Jinshan Tower. Its infinite magic power allows Jinshan Temple to resist the tide and prevent it from being submerged. The White Snake in the myth could not defeat Fahai at Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, so she sought refuge in Jinshan Pagoda in Minjiang. Under the protection of the turtle, Fahai could not catch Mrs. Bai. Later, the White Snake "flooded the Jinshan Mountain" because of her fight with Fa Hai, and the Min River was flooded, causing numerous deaths and injuries. Wugui became angry and stopped protecting her, so White Snake fell into Fahai's hands. Therefore, the Minjiang Jinshan Pagoda is famous all over the world for its mythical color.
