At 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, after 11 hours of turbulence, my mother and I finally arrived in Luanchuan, Henan.

Standing in Luanchuan, you can feel the coolness and fresh air. From this moment on, I came to the conclusion: Luanchuan is definitely an excellent summer resort!

First, we came to Jiguan Cave. This is a large cave with various naturally formed stalactites hanging from the ceiling. Some of them look like "a fairy holding a peach", "a dolphin playing with a ball", "a kiss for a thousand years"... it's really lifelike. There are all kinds of lights inside, and the stars are dotted and twinkling, making the cave even more mysterious.

When we came out of Jiguan Cave, we were all wet. We couldn’t care less and went straight to the next scenic spot, called Chongdugou.

After entering Chongdu Valley, I couldn’t help but sigh that this place is truly a “world of mountains, a paradise of water, and an ocean of bamboo.” Walking there, I felt a sense of comfort. We held on to the strange-shaped stone walls and walked carefully in the mist-filled mountains. The first attraction we arrived at was Feihong Waterfall. This waterfall is not too big, but it has its own characteristics. The flowing water and the sunlight complement each other, as if there is a real waterfall embedded in it. I was surprised by the flying beads splashing jade, felt the fine mist of scattered beads, and was completely intoxicated. After admiring the "bead curtain hanging upside down" of the flying rainbow, we came to the Caiwangya Waterfall again. This is a huge waterfall, and the words "It flows down three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way has fallen from the sky" are more suitable to describe it. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable, and at this moment, it started to rain lightly. There is something special about admiring waterfalls in the rain! In the drizzle, it looks like smoke and mist, light and refined. Like a woman with light make-up, pure and elegant, standing in the wind, her clothes fluttering; or like a fairy flying away in the waves. This is a way of venting one's anger, "Flying waterfalls and pouring jade, white practice falling into the sky".

Continue walking up and arrive at Water Curtain Palace. This is a naturally formed cave. Water is dripping constantly in the cave. The cold water drips on the body, which is cool and very comfortable. The occasional ray of sunlight that shines through makes the misty water vapor in the cave appear light blue, making it quiet and misty as if green clouds are surrounding the room. I love the water curtain fairy palace that is completely natural.

After leaving the dreamy Chongdu Valley, we came to the farming village again. The folk customs here made me linger, such as spinning, weaving, earthen pottery... everything was available, and we also ate local food. The local specialty "wolf wearing a hat" is sweet and refreshing.

Later, we also visited the world’s first cannon, the Ecological Entertainment Park, and we also played the rapids... I felt happier than ever before.
