General situation of water resources in Tacheng city

Tacheng area is located in the northwest of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, with a total area of 9.47× 104km2. Geomorphology can be roughly divided into western Junggar mountainous area, northern Tianshan and piedmont area, northwestern Junggar basin and southwestern marginal area. This area is located in the mid-latitude inland area, belonging to the mid-temperate continental climate, with scarce precipitation and uneven distribution.
