The main responsibilities of China Travel Agency Association

publicize and implement the national tourism development policy and the policies and regulations of the travel agency industry;

summarize and exchange the work experience of travel agencies, carry out research related to the travel agency industry, and put forward positive and practical suggestions for the development of the travel agency industry;

reflect the wishes and requirements of members to the competent authorities and relevant units, provide legal consulting services for members, protect their interests and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests;

formulate rules and regulations, give play to the role of industry self-discipline, urge member units to improve their management level and reception service quality, and maintain the market operation order of the tourism industry;

strengthen exchanges and cooperation among members, and organize various training, study, discussion, exchange and inspection activities;

strengthen contact, coordination and cooperation with relevant organizations and societies inside and outside the industry;

carry out exchanges and cooperation with overseas travel agency associations and related industry organizations;

to compile and publish journals and information materials to provide information services for members;

the association adopts a group membership system. All travel agencies established in China, operating in compliance with the law and having no bad reputation, units closely related to travel agency business, regional travel agency associations or other similar associations can apply to join the association, recognize and support its articles of association, abide by its articles of association and fulfill their due obligations.

the highest authority of the association is the member congress, which is held every four years. The Association has a board of directors and a standing board. The board of directors is responsible to the member congress and is the executive body of the member congress, leading the Association to carry out its daily work when the member congress is not in session. The Standing Council is responsible to the Council and exercises its functions and powers when the Council is not in session. Gai Zhixin, the current president of the Association, has Gong Wanchun, Yin Xingfu, Guan Tao, Song Chaoqi, Li Jinmao, Dong Shaoping, Ni Liansheng, Xu Luyang, Fan Qi, Yu Chaoming as vice presidents, and Hu Guoyou as secretary general.

the association implements an annual registration announcement system for its members. At the beginning of each year, member units must be registered, and the association will make a one-way public announcement on the names of members who meet the membership requirements.
