13 days in go on road trip, Qinghai Lake, Beijing. See the scenic spots one by one along the way.

With the popularity of automobiles and the improvement of domestic expressway network, more and more friends like go on road trip.

I am no exception. A few years ago, on a National Day, I went to Qinghai Lake by car in Beijing. Now I will sort out this self-driving experience in the form of pictures, hoping to share that feeling with all my friends who like go on road trip.

This time, the go on road trip of Qinghai Lake is not a long-distance raid, but a form of playing and walking. The farthest day is more than 600 kilometers, so you can not be tired, and you can also stroll along the way. I took a few days off for fear of running out of time, so the time in go on road trip was as long as thirteen days (that is, from September 25th to June 7th, 10).

The general itinerary is as follows: depart from Beijing on September 25th, pass through Hebei, then enter Qinghai in the direction of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Gansu, and finally return to Beijing in the direction of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia.

Depart from Beijing in the morning and arrive in Datong in the afternoon to visit Yungang Grottoes, one of the four largest grottoes in China.

Today's arrangement is to leave the hotel in Datong City in the morning and visit the Hanging Temple in Hengshan Mountain. After visiting the Hanging Temple, visit the wooden pagoda in Yingxian County, Shuozhou. After visiting Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, we rushed to Pingyao Ancient City.

Today's arrangement is to visit Pingyao ancient city in the morning, then go to Jixian County in Linfen at noon, stay in Jixian County that night, and go to the famous Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River the next morning.

After swimming in Hukou Waterfall in the morning, I went to Xi 'an, Shaanxi. On the way to expressway in Xi 'an, I was caught in a traffic jam and traveled more than ten kilometers in two hours. When we approached the city of Xi, the toll booths were not generally blocked.

Today's plan is to visit the Terracotta Warriors in the morning and the Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. In fact, for an ancient capital like Xi 'an, three days and three nights are endless. We only arranged one day. After all, time is limited.

Depart from Xi 'an in the morning and go to Tianshui, Gansu. Visit Maijishan Grottoes after arriving in the afternoon. Compared with Yungang Grottoes in Datong, these two grottoes have their own characteristics. A trip, even if you visit two grottoes, is not bad.

This day is the first day of the National Day, and it has been six days in a row, so I want to have a rest for half a day, so I didn't catch it that morning, but I just walked around Tianshui City. After lunch, I drove to Lanzhou and arrived at about 4: 30 in the afternoon.

Depart from Lanzhou Hotel in the morning and visit Tianfu Sand Palace behind Renshoushan Park in this city. After visiting Tianfu Palace, I drove to Qinghai and arrived at about 4 pm. Upon arrival, I visited Erlang Sword Scenic Area in Qinghai Lake.

In the morning, we started our tour around Qinghai Lake from Erlangjian Scenic Area Hotel in Qinghai Lake. At about 10: 30, we arrived at Bird Island, another famous scenic spot in Qinghai Lake. Because of the cold weather, there are no birds on Bird Island, but it is especially beautiful to see Qinghai Lake on Bird Island. After coming out of Bird Island, I went to Xining along the other side of the lake. I didn't expect to meet the heavy snow that lasted for nearly two hours on the road. A mountain is separated by four seasons, and ten miles is different. What is the weather like in Yunnan?

Depart from Xining in the morning and go to Yinchuan. The journey is about 636 kilometers, including 623 kilometers in expressway. I have to say that the road from Xining to Yinchuan is really easy.

I visited Nanguan Mosque in Yinchuan in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to Xixia Mausoleum at the foot of Helan Mountain. In the Xixia Mausoleum Museum, I can fully understand the nearly 200-year history of the ancient Xixia Kingdom.

Depart from Yinchuan in the morning and go to Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The journey is about 550 kilometers and it will arrive before 3 pm. I tasted the instant-boiled mutton of Inner Mongolia Little Sheep in Baotou in the evening, which was very authentic. Stay in Baotou at night and prepare to return to Beijing the next day.

Depart from Baotou in the morning, return to Beijing directly, the journey is about 630 kilometers, and get home around 4 pm. It's about 5000 kilometers to Qinghai Lake.
