1. self-driving, the fare is about 68 yuan/person (excluding insurance). It takes the driver about three hours to get to Nanjing Central Gate Bus Station. There are few trains, and the traffic at Hai 'an Railway Station is not very convenient, so it is not necessarily possible to take an air-conditioned car.

As far as the price is concerned, the train is definitely cheaper. The ordinary local train seems to be 20 yuan, but it is still slow without air conditioning. The express train seems to be over forty, and I haven't been on a train for a long time.

3. If you stay in a hotel at night, there are many hotels near Confucius Temple, such as Home Inn, Seven Days Inn, Hanting Inn and Greentree Inn. It's best to book in advance. They are all chain hotels and are relatively safe.

4. It's best to go to Confucius Temple in the evening. There are many snacks. It is suggested that if you have any luggage after the first day of arrival, you can leave it in the hotel first. In the afternoon, you can go to Yuhuatai, which is very close to Confucius Temple.

On the first day, Yuhuatai+Confucius Temple was quite full.
