Kunming World Horticultural Exposition Park 1

Kunming World Horticultural Exposition Park (Expo Park for short) is the site of 1999 Kunming World Horticultural Exposition. It is located in Jin Dian Scenic Area in the northeast suburb of Kunming, about 4 kilometers away from Kunming. The Expo site covers an area of about 2 18 hectares, with a vegetation coverage rate of 76.7%, including gentle slopes 120 hectares and dense shrubs.

2. Yunnan Ethnic Villages

Yunnan Ethnic Village is located on the bank of Dianchi Lake in the southwest suburb of Kunming, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 89 hectares. It is a window to reflect and display the social and cultural customs of 26 ethnic groups in Yunnan, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national cultural base of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.

3. Cuihu Park

Cuihu Park, formerly known as Caihaizi, is located at the foot of Luofeng Mountain and Wuhua Mountain in Kunming, opposite the main entrance of Yunnan University. At first, it was a lake bay in Dianchi Lake, but later it became a clear lake because of the drop of water level.

4. Jinma Biji Restaurant

Jinma Bijifang is located at the intersection of Shisan Street and Jinbi Road in downtown Kunming, with a height of12m and a width of18m. It is beautifully carved and painted. It is called Jinmafang in the east and Bijifang in the west, which is the symbol of Kunming. Jinma Bijifang was founded in Xuande period of Ming Dynasty, and has a history of nearly 400 years.

5. guandu town

Guandu town, located in the southeast suburb of Kunming, is one of the famous historical and cultural ancient towns in Kunming. The gate of Guandu Ancient Town (Grand Archway) is located 8 kilometers southeast of Kunming, on the north bank of Dianchi Lake and downstream of Baoxiang River, with an area of 17 square kilometers.
