If you want to climb Mount Huangshan, the Hundred-Step Ladder is the only way to go.

The Hundred-Step Ladder is located on the cliff at the northwest foot of Lotus Peak. Not far from the "Lotus Stem" there are two huge rocks, one shaped like a turtle and the other shaped like a snake, and the two stones are parallel. The steep orange path with more than 100 steps carved into the stone wall goes down between the two rocks. Viewed from the Aoyu Cave on the opposite side, the path leads down to the abyss, like a long ladder leaning against the cliff, often shrouded in clouds and mist. It is very dangerous and quite famous.
