For children who are over 1.2 meters tall but less than 1.4 meters tall, how should we charge tickets for tourist attractions?

Normally speaking: Children under 1.2m are free of charge, children between 1.2-1.4m are half-priced, and children over 1.4m are charged adult tickets.

Tourist attractions have preferential strategies for tickets for children:

1. According to the "Notice on Rectifying and Standardizing Ticket Prices for Tourist Attractions" by eight ministries including the National Development and Reform Commission (Development and Reform Price [2008] No. 905) and other relevant regulations, combined with the actual local regulations formulated in the region, children under 1.2 meters are free of charge, and some attractions are discounted at half price.

2. Tickets will be charged for children above 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters) and 1.4 meters. Some attractions are discounted at half price for student tickets, and some attractions are treated the same as adults and charge full admission.

3. Children above 1.4 meters (inclusive) will be charged full price.

As living conditions improve, children are getting taller and taller, and the 1.4 meter standard for identifying children is no longer suitable. As early as 2012, the average height of 6-year-old urban boys across the country reached 1.2 meters, and the average height of 12-year-old minors exceeded 1.5 meters. Many minors cannot enjoy discounts when purchasing fares because they are too tall.
