Interesting Shaanxi Xi'an Chapter

I am afraid that I will forget it after being away for a long time. Feelings will gradually fade away, just like now, I like Hangzhou.

I live in Shangluo, but I have the deepest affection for Xi’an. So let’s start with Xi’an.

Having worked in the tourism industry in Shaanxi Province for two years, I can make some travel guides.

It’s a note.

1

Shaanxi ≠ Loess Plateau. Most of the time when we talk about Shaanxi, southerners think of it as the Gobi Desert in the northwest. Every time someone asks me, does it never rain over there? Is there any water to eat? Still living in a cave dwelling? Is the sky filled with yellow sand as soon as you step out? Do you all wear white handkerchiefs?

Yes, yes, both are correct. But that's not all.

It’s just as funny as we think that Mongolian compatriots ride horses to work and go to school, that Jiangnan only has cheongsams and shirts, and that Xinjiang only has mutton skewers.

2

Due to geographical distribution, Shaanxi is divided into northern Shaanxi, Guanzhong and southern Shaanxi from north to south.

Northern Shaanxi (northern Shaanxi) has less rain, resulting in a drier climate. Due to the vertical distribution of loess, some people still live in cave dwellings, but the facilities inside are very modern, warm in winter and cool in summer. It’s not all loess, there are also lake resources such as Hongjiannao and Nanniwan, which are very beautiful.

Guanzhong is located in the plain area of ??central Shaanxi, which can also be said to be the hinterland of the entire China, namely Dongtong Pass (Hangu Pass), Xisan Pass (Dazhen Pass), Nanwuguan (Languan Pass), Beibei Pass It is within the four passes of Xiaoguan (Jinsuoguan), so it has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times. More emperors and generals are willing to establish capitals in Guanzhong. The origin of the earth in China is located in Sanyuan County, Xianyang City, Guanzhong.

Shaannan=Little Jiangnan. Beautiful mountains and clear waters, small bridges and flowing water, pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, fish and rice.

3

Provincial capital city—Xi’an.

Talking about economy - 1.5 tier cities, at least that’s what people in Xi’an think.

In terms of history - no one can compare with it. The ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties (also known as the Sixteenth Dynasty) has a history of 3,500 years since King Wen of Zhou Jichang established the capital, and a history of at least 5,000 years since the Yellow Emperor. .

When it comes to culture - no one can compare with it. Culture often continues with the evolution of history. Han culture and Tang culture are the most direct witnesses.

History is at every step and culture is everywhere.

This is the pride of Xi'an people since ancient times.

4

Xi'an was called Chang'an in ancient times - long-term peace and stability.

It is also the capital of emperors, palaces, parks and mausoleums. The Western Zhou, Qin, Western Han, Xinmang, Western Jin, Qian Zhao, Qian Qin, Later Qin, Western Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui and Tang successively established their capitals here.

Correspondingly, it was accompanied by the palaces, gardens and tombs of these kings after their death.

It also makes Xi’an a tourist city.

5

The most famous is the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, known as the "Eight Wonders of the World", and the pit of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses where he was buried. National 5A level scenic spot.

The tomb of Ying Zheng, the first emperor in Chinese history, is also one of the first batch of world cultural heritage in China.

The Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is located in Lintong District, Xi'an.

A must-see attraction when visiting Xi’an.

6

The next must-see attractions are: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Daming Palace ruins in Tang Chang'an City, Weiyang Palace ruins in Han Chang'an City, and Xingjiao Temple Tower.

There is no way, these are all included in the World Heritage List.

In fact, I recommend walking on the Xi'an Ming City Wall. After all, it is the place with the least traffic jams in Xi'an, and you can also see the prosperity of Chang'an City.

You should also go to the Xi'an Stele Forest Museum. The stone steles inside are all genuine, and four of the Six Horses of Zhaoling are real. If you like calligraphy, you must go.

The chubby ladies of the Tang Dynasty in Xi'an Museum are cute and naive. The Tang city wall during the heyday of the Tang Dynasty is four times the size of the Ming city wall now!

You should go to the Shaanxi History Museum. The pot of fine wine from the Western Han Dynasty is still exuding the unique fragrance of thousands of years ago; the terracotta warriors and horses moved from Lintong are of realistic proportions; the piles of gold horseshoes will blind you. Eyes...

If you are lucky enough to be near the city wall at night, you must take a look at the welcome ceremony at the south gate of the Xi'an City Wall - "Dream of Chang'an" to truly experience the Tang Dynasty. etiquette.

On ordinary days, the south gate is also brightly lit, and you can feel the grand occasion of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the congratulations of thousands of dynasties.

12

Bell Tower - the central coordinate point of the entire Xi'an city. You can go upstairs and watch the busy traffic in Xi'an.

Echoing it is the Drum Tower.

13

There is a small alley behind the Drum Tower - Huifang. Commonly known as Muslim Street.

Xi’an’s iconic snack and food street. A must go.

Experience the crowded world of foodies.

This is my review of Huimin Street: I really want to go to Huimin Street after I haven’t been there for a long time. After I went there once, I didn’t want to go there for a long time.
