There is no Yungang, there is Lianyungang.

Lianyungang, referred to as "Lian", was called "Haizhou" in ancient times, and is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. Because it faces Liandao and leans against Yuntai Mountain, and because of Lianyungang Port, it was named Lianyungang.

Lianyungang is located on the eastern coast of mainland China, on the northern flank of the Yangtze River Delta, in the northeastern part of Jiangsu Province, at the junction of the Shandong hills and the Huaibei Plain. It faces the Yellow Sea to the east and faces North Korea, South Korea and Japan across the sea; it is adjacent to Linyi City in Shandong Province and Xuzhou City in Jiangsu Province to the west, Suqian City, Huai'an City and Yancheng City in Jiangsu Province to the south, and Rizhao City in Shandong Province to the north.

Lianyungang combines "sea" (Liandao Beach), "ancient" (Haizhou Ancient City, Minzhu Road Old Street, Lianyun Old Street, Liuchao Street), and "god" (Huaguo Mountain) , "You" (Yuntai Mountain on the sea), "Qi" (Fishing Bay), and "Quan" (East China Sea Hot Spring) are integrated into one. It is a city where mountains, sea, harbor and city are dependent on each other. It is known as "the first scenic spot in the East China Sea".

Lianyungang City is located in the transition zone between the warm temperate zone and the subtropical zone. It has four distinct seasons, pleasant cold and heat, sufficient sunlight and moderate rainfall. The climate type is humid monsoon climate.
