The soil in the scenic spot is divided into mountain brown cinnamon soil, chernozem and chestnut soil. The beauty of the landscape of Laoye Mountain comes from the natural forces created in heaven and ingenious, and from the mottled annual rings that span the space.

Ta 'er Temple

Ta 'er Temple is the activity center of Tibetan Buddhism in the northwest of China, which enjoys a good reputation in China and Southeast Asia. The central governments of past dynasties highly praised the religious status of Ta 'er Temple. In the Ming Dynasty, the upper religious figures in the temple were given titles many times. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty gave them the plaque of "Jingshang Jinliang", Emperor Qianlong gave them the title of "Fanzong Temple" and the plaque of "Fanfa Building" for Dajinwa Temple. Butter sculpture, murals and pile embroidery are known as the "three wonders of art in Ta 'er Temple". In addition, there are many Buddhist classics and academic monographs on history, literature, philosophy, medicine and legislation in the temple.

The Mogao Grottoes

, also known as the Thousand-Buddha Cave, is composed of the Mogao Grottoes Digital Exhibition Center and the Mogao Grottoes, with a large number of murals, grottoes and cultural relics. The first place to visit Dunhuang is to watch movies in the exhibition center, and then to see the large-scale and rich grottoes and mural art. There are Buddha statues and flying clouds painted everywhere in the cave, ranging from sitting statues as high as nine floors to small bodhisattvas of more than ten centimeters, with a large number and different shapes. Now, under the Sanxing Mountain opposite the Mogao Grottoes, some of the original large caves have been copied, which makes the viewing content of tourists in the Mogao Grottoes more colorful.
