What are the necessary items for cruise tourism?
I suggest you take a small bag with you, which contains your travel documents, clothes, swimsuits, sportswear and medicines you may need. In this way, when you enter the cabin, you don't have to wait for the arrival of luggage and enjoy your cruise holiday directly.
Take more empty plastic bags just in case.
When packing, you can consider putting in the following four books: travel guide-creating necessary publications for you to explore new attractions. Chi Pan's Short Book —— Enjoy a leisurely moment accompanied by a short book in the warm sunshine of Chi Pan. Diary-record your daily travel mood and look forward to sharing and remembering in the future. Address book-send your friends postcards of cruise ships and make them jealous.
Telescopes are also one of the personal treasures that are often forgotten during travel. Don't forget to bring it before you go out. No matter far or near, the beautiful scenery is clear at a glance.
Whether indoors or outdoors, it is most suitable to wear shorts, T-shirts, trousers, casual skirts, shirts and summer clothes during the day. If you want to wander around the swimming pool and bathe in the sunshine, please bring two sets of swimsuits (in case the other set can't be changed after getting wet) and a pair of casual shoes (such as slippers, beach shoes or sports shoes). In addition, between the cabin and the swimming pool, you can also prepare some casual shorts, some T-shirts, or towel coats for later use.
If you plan to exercise in the fitness center, don't forget to bring more shorts, T-shirts and socks, so you don't have to sweat back to the cabin for a change. Of course, there is also a pair of tennis shoes or running shoes, which is absolutely indispensable. To attend a formal dinner, women must wear evening dresses, while men must wear suits, ties or evening dresses. As for the semi-casual dinner time, women should wear dresses or trousers, while men should wear jackets or coats and ties. When it is light, men wear sweatshirts and trousers, and women can wear casual skirts or trousers. Please remember that shorts, T-shirts and swimsuits are not suitable for restaurants or dinners. In the Sailing Cafe, we provide you with a semi-casual dinner, so please be sure to wear semi-casual clothes to attend. In addition, semi-casual clothes are also suitable for all our specialty restaurants. Generally speaking, cruise ships will provide tuxedo rental service for you to attend formal dinners and special occasions. When going ashore for sightseeing, you need a pair of comfortable walking shoes, a hat and a sunscreen to resist the strong outdoor ultraviolet rays.
If you choose to sail in Europe or Alaska, it may be very cold on the deck at night. We suggest that you prepare sweaters, jackets and trousers. As for visiting any museum, church or religious shrine, it is absolutely wise to dress conservatively. Perhaps, you can also bring a raincoat, a pair of hiking shoes and a small umbrella that can be folded.
You shouldn't carry anything.
For the safety of passengers, the following items are not allowed to be carried on the cruise ship: electronic transformers, coffee pots, irons, illegal drugs, flammable liquids and explosives (such as fireworks and open flames). For safety reasons, we also advise you not to put any valuables (such as jewelry) in your checked baggage.
Carry-on certificate
Take a few minutes before leaving home to familiarize yourself with the travel documents that must be presented before boarding the cruise ship.
Cruise passengers must be fully responsible for the authentication and possession of personal travel documents, and show them as proof when necessary. Applicable travel documents include passports, visas, quarantine certificates and family legal documents. The above documents must be ready at any time when boarding the ship and re-entering the United States and other countries.
Those who fail to produce the required documents may be banned from boarding, boarding or entering the country, and may face fines. We won't give any refund to those who can't produce the required documents.
Information that should be paid attention to in each navigation area
Asian voyages refer to all voyages from Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
North American voyages refer to all voyages from the ports of the United States, Canada and Mexico (including the Panama Canal).
The rest of the voyages are classified as international voyages, including voyages from Europe, South America and Australia/New Zealand, and also cover the navigation from these ports and the repositioning of return voyages.
Asian navigation
Continuous voyage: cruise passengers who choose continuous voyage must ensure that they have the required valid travel documents throughout the cruise holiday.
Passport: Passengers must hold a valid travel passport. Make sure there are enough blank pages in the passport for visa stamping. For safety reasons, we recommend that your passport be valid for no more than 6 months from the date of flight termination. As the cruise ship will collect the passengers' passports in advance for customs clearance at each port of call, we suggest that you prepare and carry with you several copies of your passports containing personal information and recent photos. So you only need to bring this copy with you every time you leave the cruise ship and enter Hong Kong.
Visa: Cruise passengers must be fully responsible for the certification and holding of individual tourist visas before leaving home, unless otherwise instructed. Many countries still require passengers of different nationalities to hold valid visas. Cambodia and Vietnam still require visas for tourists from many countries, including citizens of the United States and Canada, but this is not the only visa required for a certain voyage.
Quarantine/health certificate: All passengers are responsible for ensuring their personal health and suitability for travel. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide vaccination guidelines for countries. In many cases, we advise passengers to be vaccinated, but in some cases, vaccination is necessary. Therefore, we suggest that you consult a local medical professional or a tourism medical specialist certified by the World Health Organization.
Family legal documents: Any accompanying adult who is not the parent or legal guardian of the child must present the child's valid passport or birth certificate (original, notarized copy or certified copy) and the original notarized power of attorney signed by at least one parent. The original notarized power of attorney of the parents concerned must clearly indicate that the accompanying adults are authorized to participate in the designated cruise ship, the guardians must be authorized to sign the formal legal documents/exemption documents for participating in any activities (such as rock climbing, ocean surfing park, bungee jumping, roller skating or skating), and the accompanying adults must be authorized to supervise the children's activities and allow the children to receive any medical treatment if necessary. If the child's legal guardian is not an adult parent, the accompanying adult must hold the child's guardianship certificate.
