I am a student and want to travel to the ancient city of Pingyao. I would like to know how to get to Pingyao from Shenzhen to Pingyao, Shanxi, by train or plane, and how much it will cost. Thank you.

Train: Shenzhen-Guangzhou, 80 yuan. K238/K239 from Guangzhou to Taiyuan, hard seat 251, hard sleeper upper, middle and lower seats 426, 442, 456.

After arriving in Taiyuan, there will be many trains to Pingyao, and the fare is between 8-15 yuan.

Airplane: Air tickets vary in each time period. My flight from Taiyuan to Shenzhen in 2011 cost more than 1,000 yuan and it took more than two hours to arrive. From an economic point of view, the train is cost-effective

PS: When you get off the train in Pingyao, you don’t have to listen to what those people say. You walk along the street directly opposite the train station and see the first traffic light heading towards Turn left, and then you can go to the west gate of the ancient city. Accommodation is very convenient.
