Hoi An Travel Guide
Hoi An is close to the sea, and it takes only 30 minutes to get to Champo Island by speedboat.
The sea area of Champo Island is rich in seafood with low price, which is a real zero-time seafood.
Perhaps because the ancient town of Hui 'an is so famous, the seafood in Hui 'an has been neglected for many years, and most of the ancient towns operate Vietnamese restaurants. The seafood in Huian is mainly concentrated on the coastal roads of Longquan Lake. There are five-star hotels on the coastal side of the road, such as Palm Hotel, Agricultural Bank Hotel and Sunrise Hotel, opposite to the famous Hai 'an Seafood Street.
In addition to good quality and low price, Hoi An Seafood also provides a special dish in central Vietnam: shrimp eggs, which is rich in nutrition and has a flexible taste.
If you travel to Hui 'an ancient town, you must go to Seafood Street to taste the local zero-time seafood.
Major tourist attractions
Huian Museum of History and Culture, Guandi Temple, Canaan Island;
Fujian Guild Hall: The most magnificent Chinese Guild Hall in Hui 'an was built by local Fujian overseas Chinese in Hui 'an during the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty.
Chaozhou Guild Hall, Zhonghua Guild Hall, Qiongzhou Guild Hall, Zhao Guang Guild Hall and Hui 'an Ancient Dwellings.
Li's Ancestral Hall: The building combines the styles of China, Japan and Vietnam.
Laiyuan Bridge: Located on the small river to the west of the ancient town of Hui 'an, it is a "covered bridge" with Japanese style. It has a history of more than one hundred years.
Meishan Holy Land: one of the four world heritages approved by UNESCO in Vietnam, located 43km west of Hoi An, is the largest religious site of ancient Champa in Vietnam. Therefore, it is called the "Angkor" of Vietnam by the outside world.
Hoi An is one of the four "world cultural and natural heritages" in Vietnam and a famous tourist attraction in central Vietnam.
In Hui 'an, the houses in Guzhen area are all ancient buildings with a considerable age history. There are no modern new buildings in them, but they are original. But there are only four or five streets in the whole Hui 'an ancient town. Going to Hui 'an is like walking into a corner of the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. Chinese architecture can be seen everywhere, and they are well preserved and have not been destroyed by the war. Now they are basically converted into tourist handicraft souvenir shops or small restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and you can visit the small family hotels in Hui 'an ancient town in half a day. They are all very distinctive, all three or four stories high. There is a small garden in front of the door, with several tables and chairs for tourists to stare blankly. The exterior walls are all colored, blue, yellow and green, and many flowers and plants are planted. It can be seen that life here is very leisurely.
Hoi An's specialty is lanterns. In the evening, all kinds of lanterns are lit at the entrance and eaves of the restaurant, and the Mid-Autumn Festival can be celebrated every day. The fabric is local silk or silk, but there are only those styles.
Many people who have been to Mycenae and Angkor say that if you go to Angkor, you don't have to go to Mycenae. I feel that Mei Sen is a bit like a chicken rib in Cao Cao's mouth. If you don't go, it is the world cultural heritage, which is just around the corner. It's a pity that you don't go. If you go, it will be very small, just like the scale of a temple in Angkor, and it is as meaningless as Angkor's style. I want to turn around when I get there. Haven't been to Angkor, you can warm up.
Hoi An was called "Occupy Haikou" in ancient times, which was the seaport of the occupied country at that time. Merchant ships from China and Europe will do business here, so it has become one of the most important commercial ports in Southeast Asia. Walking in the street, Chinese and French buildings are mixed together. There is no noise of ordinary cities in Vietnam, only quiet and leisure scenery.
Canaan i.
Canaan Island is located on the other side of Qiupen River in Hui 'an, and you can take a ferry at Bach Duong Road Pier in Hui 'an. Thanks to the influence of Anguo Town, the local government has been committed to developing tourism for many years, building facilities such as coconut groves, bamboo bridges and fishing kiosks in small forests, and putting in fry for fishing. In addition to the traditional tour of the water coconut grove on the island, the problem of tourists' eating can be solved in the farmhouse on the island. All vegetables are taken from their own vegetable fields, which are pure natural and have no chemical fertilizer. The taste is completely different from that bought in supermarkets in the city, and everyone who has eaten it is well-known.
Not long after the car drove out of Miangang, it began to enter the beautiful scenery of full of green. Because it's only one hour's journey from Da Nang to Hui 'an, and it's rated as one of the 50 places that people must visit in life by National Geographic magazine, everyone dare not sleep for fear of missing any beautiful scenery on the road.
Hoi An is my favorite Vietnamese city. Compared with the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, the strong humanistic atmosphere of Hue and the atmosphere of Saigon, Hoi An is a small jasper, which makes people feel pity and reluctant to go. The family inns in Hoi An are all distinctive, all three or four stories high. There is a small garden in front of the door, with several tables and chairs for tourists to stare blankly. The exterior walls are all colored, blue, yellow and green, and many flowers and plants are planted. It can be seen that life here is very leisurely.
Hoi An is the place where Vietnamese overseas Chinese live the most. /kloc-In the 7th century, businessmen from China traveled to and from the Qiupen River for border trade, which made China culture deeply rooted here. Today, people can still find the profound influence of Chinese culture on this land from Frozen Song. Chinese in ancient buildings can be seen everywhere, which also makes people feel that they are not strangers in a foreign land. In the evening of Hoi An, the wind is soft and cool, sweeping away the heat during the day. Riding a bicycle between ancient cities, bright or dark lights reflect a hazy beauty through various lanterns, making this ancient city more charming and full of vitality.
Houses set up stalls, shopkeepers sat on benches and chatted on street corners. The old lady selling lanterns sat at the door and sewed lanterns bit by bit. The floor of the shop behind her was covered with unformed lantern skeletons. Sometimes you can hear several inquiries in the alley. Everything here is very soft, and the music from somewhere echoes melodiously over the whole ancient city. 40 kilometers away from Hoi An, there is a place which, like Hoi An, is listed on the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. They are equally old, and that is my song valley. It is a sacred place in the hearts of Vietnamese, also known as "Angkor in Vietnam". Meishan is related to an ancient dynasty, which is the famous Champo dynasty in Vietnamese history.
Champa Dynasty was once known as "the three ancient kingdoms of Southeast Asia" together with Zhenla Kingdom, which built Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and Hu Ling Kingdom, which built Borobudur in Java. The Kingdom of Champa once occupied an extremely important historical position in the cultural and economic history of East Asia, Southeast Asia and even Asia and the world. Like many famous dynasties in the world, after the prosperity, only some exquisite but broken remains remained in Champa dynasty, and Meishan is the most important holy place left by the Kingdom of Champa. Besides the main building, there are many statues. Unfortunately, many of them have become decapitated because of the long time, and some people have lost their hands, which makes people feel very sorry.
The feeling of Hoi An seems to be that when it comes to Hoi An, you really calm down and feel Vietnam. Then I found that Hoi An was so different, without the noise brought by the turbulent motorcycle flow in Hanoi and the quiet and frank royal atmosphere in Hue. In the classical and dignified Hoi An, what you see is a leisurely earthly life.
Friendly reminder:
1, Hanoi is a long way to Hue, and all OpenTour will provide overnight train trips, because this will not only save time, but also save accommodation for the day.
2. You can take a one-day tour of the beautiful valley in Hoi An, and the price fluctuates around 7- 10 USD/person.
Special instructions:
The traffic in Viet Nam is very developed, and there are expressway in large, medium and small cities. Of course, Vietnam's self-help tour chooses OpenTourBus combined transport. The combined route is Hanoi-Hue-Da Nang-Hoi An-Nha Trang-Dat-Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). You don't have to worry about traffic as long as you take OpenTourBus. Vietnam has many beds of various grades. Hotels can be divided into star hotels and ordinary hotels. The price of a three-star hotel is more than $30, and the quality meets international standards. Small hotels are all over the tourist cities, which are relatively clean. Standard rooms range from $6 to $20, and rooms without bathrooms are cheaper, with a minimum occupancy of $3. Generally, a room from 8 to 10 will be fine. Generally, it costs 1-2 dollars to use air conditioners. If there are no windows or the room on the first floor is humid, the price can be reduced by 1 USD. A double bed room is cheaper than a room with two single beds 1 USD. You should negotiate the price before checking into the hotel. Most hotels need passports, but residential rental houses in Ho Chi Minh City don't. A double room has two beds, and a single room usually has a double bed. You must bargain.
It will be cheaper to stay at night than during the day, because it can't be rented out in the future. Some hotel rooms are equipped with boiling water. Ask the waiter for boiled water. The local people have the habit of drinking boiled water. Almost all small hotels have hot showers, and bed sheets and pillowcases are generally handed over to professional laundries for cleaning, which is relatively clean. Hotel service is warm, you can exchange Vietnamese currency, but the price is a little more expensive. In addition, you can book air tickets and do short-distance tours around. Small hotels are especially suitable for self-help tourists, which is convenient for everyone to exchange travel experiences with each other.
