If you take a boat from Daxun Pier of Manman Power Plant and go eastward for about 8 kilometers along the main channel of Songhua Lake, the lake seems to end here due to the cover of green mountains. However, if you turn north for 1 kilometer along the narrow waterway, the lake suddenly becomes clear.
