The whole town belongs to the humid climate of north subtropical monsoon, with four distinct seasons, with an annual average temperature of 15.7℃, a frost-free period of 235 days, an annual rainfall of about 1 100 mm and an annual sunshine of 2 122 hours. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Wu Zixu avenged the murder of his father and brother by the King of Chu, and reached the world of Zhao and Guan. Now there stands a magnificent Wuxiang Temple. Secondly, Zhaoguan Hot Spring is a natural scenic spot with Zhaoguan Hot Spring as the main body, which is unique in the county, with a daily overflow of 2 100 tons and an overflow temperature of 43℃. It contains a variety of minerals beneficial to human health and can be built into a resort for people's entertainment and leisure. At present, it has been developed by Jiangsu merchants into a breeding base for tropical fish species in Chaohu City.
