What is the saliva sampling method for genetic testing?

Saliva sampling detection method is more convenient, quick and easy to operate. The process is as follows:

1. Do not eat, drink, smoke, drink or chew gum for 30 minutes before saliva collection, and rinse your mouth with drinking water.

2. Take out the sampling tube, open the funnel cover, and collect saliva into the sampling tube through the funnel until the position shown on the label on the sampling tube.

3. Cover the funnel cover so that the preservation liquid in the funnel cover can fully flow into the collection tube.

4. Unscrew the funnel, cover it with a small cover, and shake it upside down to fully mix the saliva and the preservation solution.

5. Put the sampling tube and the filled data back in the box and send it back to the genetic testing center.

Note: In order to ensure that the actual amount of saliva can reach the scale line, excluding the upper foam, the saliva sampling process must be completed within half an hour.

Generally speaking, the process of genetic testing takes about 15 working days from receiving the DNA sample from the laboratory to receiving the test report.
