Hubei Province, referred to as "Hubei" for short, is the provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with Wuhan as its capital. Hubei Province is located in the middle of China, bordering Anhui in the east, Chongqing in the west, Shaanxi in the northwest, Jiangxi and Hunan in the south, Henan in the north, Huangmei County in the easternmost part, Lichuan City in the westernmost part, laifeng county in the southernmost part and Yunxi County in the northernmost part, with a total area of about 185700 square kilometers.
By the end of 2020, there were 12 prefecture-level administrative regions in the province, namely Wuhan, Huangshi, Xiangyang, Jingzhou, Yichang, Shiyan, Xiaogan, Jingmen, Ezhou, Huanggang, Xianning and Suizhou, and 1 autonomous prefecture, namely Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It governs 103 county-level administrative regions, namely 39 municipal districts, 26 county-level cities, 35 counties, 2 autonomous counties and 1 forest region, among which Xiantao City, Qianjiang City, Tianmen City and Shennongjia Forest Region are directly administered by the province.
Introduction of scenic spots in Hubei:
1, Enshi Grand Canyon: There are thousands of waterfalls, virgin forests and ancient villages here, which is an excellent place to go in summer. There, you can go down to the crack 100 meters deep, and you can also feel a different kind of stimulation in the air more than 300 meters high. Qixingzhai and Yunlong Sewing, two open core scenic spots, are known as tourist attractions comparable to the Grand Canyon in the United States.
2. East Lake: the second largest lake in China and the first batch of national scenic spots. East Lake Scenic Area covers an area of 88 square kilometers and is divided into six scenic spots: Tingtao, Moshan, Yan, Di, Baima and Luohong. 3. Mulan Cultural Eco-tourism Zone: Located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, it is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, which consists of four scenic spots: Mulan Mountain, Mulan Tianchi, Mulan Grassland and Mulan Wuyun. Mulan Mountain, named after the female general Mulan, bears the cultural heritage of Huang Po for thousands of years, with vast grasslands and rich ethnic customs.
4. Wudang Mountain: It is one of the famous Taoist holy places in China. It is famous for its prominent position as the crown of the five mountains, and it is one of the world cultural heritages announced by the United Nations. The ancient buildings in Wudang Mountain are grand in scale and imposing.
5. Shennongjia: Shennongjia has many mountains, high mountains and deep valleys. Shennongjia, the main peak, is 3 105 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Central China and is known as the roof of Central China. Shenlongjia is a forest eco-tourism area with the theme of beautiful subalpine natural scenery, diverse animal and plant species and harmony between man and nature.
