How many five-year scenic spots are there in China?

Up to now, there are 306 national 5a scenic spots in China. The national AAAAAAAA-level tourist scenic spot, namely 5A-level scenic spot, is a scenic spot divided by China people and a tourist scenic spot in China. * * * is divided into five levels, from high to low, they are AAAAA, AAAA, AAA, AA and A respectively.

Jiangsu province ranks first in total, with 25 scenic spots in 5a, Zhejiang 19, Xinjiang 16, Sichuan 15 in Guangdong, Henan 14, Jiangxi, Shandong, Hubei 13 and Anhui13. Since it was selected into the 5a scenic spot in 2007, there are 10 in Fujian and Chongqing, 9 in Shanxi and Yunnan, 8 in Beijing, 8 in Guangxi, 8 in Guizhou and 2 in Tianjin.

On May 22, 2007, the National Tourism Administration issued a notice on its official website. After the on-site acceptance by the evaluation team appointed by the National Scenic Spot Quality Rating Committee and the examination and approval by the National Scenic Spot Quality Rating Committee, it was decided to approve 66 scenic spots, including the Palace Museum in Beijing, as national 5A-level scenic spots. There are 106 pilot units for the establishment of 5A-level scenic spots recommended by provincial-level scenic spot assessment agencies to the National Tourism Administration within the prescribed time limit. In the final evaluation, 66 scenic spots became national AAAAA.
