Introduction to Xisai Mountain Attractions:

It is located 10 kilometers south of the western suburbs of Huzhou Xiangfanyang Lake (i.e. Fanchang Lake) Xiwan. "Huzhou Prefecture Chronicles" written by Wanli of the Ming Dynasty: "Qusai Mountain is located 25 miles west of Huzhou City, with Taohuawu and Fanchang Lake below. Xisei Mountain is famous for its poem "The Fisherman" written by Zhang Zhihe (730---810), a reclusive poet in the mid-Tang Dynasty: "In front of Xisai Mountain, white mandarin ducks fly, and peach blossoms and flowing water make mandarin fish fat." The answer was: "If Hui Yuzhou, I would like to live on the Shuo River and Lake with my floating house, and travel between Tiao (Shang Yu Xia Yu), it will be a blessing for the wild man. "When Zhang Zhihe was in Huzhou, he met Jinglingzi Lu Yu and Xiao Xiao who were also in Huzhou at that time. 15. The imperial concubine Tomoko, a famous scholar and scholar, also wrote two poems for peace. Japan also included Zhang Ji's "Night Mooring at Maple Bridge" and Zhang Zhihe's "The Fisherman" in textbooks. "New Book of Tang: Biography of Hermits": "Xuanzhen's surname is Zhang and his given name is Zhihe. Yan Zhenqing, the Duke of Lu, is friendly with him. Zhenqing is the governor of Huzhou. He drinks with his followers and sings the lyrics to "The Fisherman". His first song is Zhihe. Zhenqing, Lu Hongjian, Xu Shiheng, and Li Chengju sang twenty-five poems and praised each other. "The mountain is passed down in poetry, and Xisai Mountain has become a scenic spot in Huzhou." During the Ming Dynasty, "Xisai Fishing Night" was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Wuxing.

There is also the tomb of Yan Zhenzhi in Xisai Mountain. Yan Zhenzhi, a native of Wucheng, served as Shangshu in the 26th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1393). After his death, he was buried in his hometown, Xisai Mountain. "Wucheng County Chronicles" written by Xu Feng in the Qing Dynasty: "The old county chronicles say that the tomb of Shangshu Yan Zhenzhi is in Xisai Mountain. Shangshu Bai's name is Liang Saiweng. He is buried there. The mountain is in the west of the city." Folks call this place Yan's Tomb and Yan's Family Tomb, Shangshu Tomb Mountain. In front of the tomb hill is Fanyang Lake, and two miles east is Taohuawu. Li Jie (Cishan), the prefect of Piling (today's Changzhou) in the Southern Song Dynasty and a famous landscape painter, also visited Xisai Mountain and wrote the "Scroll of Xisai Fishing Society", and asked his close friends Fan Chengda and Zhou Bida to write a postscript. Fan Chengda wrote a long postscript of more than 290 words in the twelfth year of Chunxi (1185), which includes the following words: "Waiting for peach blossoms to grow in the water, sailing in a small boat to the west, bothering the master to buy fish and dipping in wine, and singing songs of condolences". This inscription and postscript once belonged to the collection of Zhang Daqian, a master of traditional Chinese painting, and the original is now in New York, USA.
