It is forbidden for all social groups or individuals to travel, explore and illegally cross from Golmud to the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve in Yushu Prefecture. Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve is located in the west of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province. Hoh Xil, together with Lop Nur no man's land, Qiangtang no man's land and Altun Mountain no man's land, is called the four no man's land in China. Apart from mountains, lakes, grasslands and wildlife, it is almost deserted here.

So why should tourists and explorers be forbidden to enter such a mysterious and beautiful place? There are several reasons.

First, in order to protect rare wild animals, it is precisely because Hoh Xil is inaccessible that it has become a paradise for rare wild animals such as Tibetan antelopes.

The rich mineral and wildlife resources in Hoh Xil have attracted the attention of many poachers. Did those unscrupulous poachers regard Hoh Xil as? Can't tell? Capture wild animals unscrupulously in exchange for illegal income.

In order to strengthen the protection of wildlife, it is best to control all people and vehicles entering Hoh Xil and prohibit unreported vehicles from entering Hoh Xil.

Second, traveling in Hoh Xil is not romantic. Although the scenery in Hoh Xil is beautiful, it is not a paradise for tourists. Hoh Xil is not only uninhabited, but also has a bad climate. The overall average temperature is-10.0℃ ~ 4. 1℃, and the lowest temperature is below -40℃, which is not suitable for tourism and exploration.

In August this year, a girl majoring in pilots at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics ignored the advice to enter the no-man's land in Hoh Xil, but never came out again.

The girl once went to Africa alone and studied as a pilot. Her physical strength, courage and endurance are far superior to those of ordinary girls, but she doesn't really know Hoh Xil.

Third, protect the ecological environment of Hoh Xil. Some people say that every footprint you make in Hoh Xil may be the first footprint here since the birth of the earth.

Hoh Xil is one of the nature reserves with well-preserved primitive ecological environment in the world, with unique natural landscape.

If Hoh Xil is overexploited, more and more tourists and adventure lovers will enter the no-man's land in Hoh Xil, and human activities will destroy the original vegetation in Hoh Xil and throw away more and more domestic garbage.
