The water surface of Tianchi reaches an altitude of 2150 meters. It is named because of its high location. Tianchi is a volcano naturally formed by volcanic eruptions. The mouth lake is oval in shape. When the volcano ejected a large amount of lava, the crater formed a basin. Over time, under the action of rain, snow water and underground spring water, the water accumulated into the lake, forming the current Tianchi. Tianchi Lake covers an area of ??10 square kilometers and is a huge natural reservoir. Surrounded by sixteen peaks, the quiet and clear Tianchi Lake is like a piece of jasper, giving people a mysterious and unpredictable feeling. The best time to visit Tianchi is in midsummer, when there are less clouds and fog and it is easier to see the true face of Tianchi.
There are often reports of tourists witnessing lake monsters here. Although their existence has not been confirmed so far, it also adds a strong sense of mystery to Tianchi. Tianchi is also the boundary lake between China and North Korea. There is a boundary monument between China and North Korea on the top of the west slope. Standing by the lake, you can overlook the other half of the mountain tops in North Korea.
I arrived at the entrance of the scenic spot around 9 o'clock and hired a beautiful little tour guide at the door. She is the official tour guide of the scenic spot (not a black tour guide), and she costs 150 soft girl coins per day. To be honest, the role of tour guides is still very important. No matter explaining, leading the way, or arranging the itinerary, they are excellent and save us a lot of unnecessary mistakes. And her biggest role is that she can contact the tourist spots in Tianchi and know the weather conditions of Tianchi at any time. We made great contributions to finally seeing Tianchi. Therefore, it is still necessary to hire one if the economy is not very tight.
After getting off the bus, you can hike about 100M to the top of the mountain to see the legendary Tianchi. The scenery is definitely worth the bumps along the way.
It is located on the border between China and North Korea, and 2/3 is located in China. A blue lake as calm as a mirror. It is said that you need luck to see it. Some people come many times but miss Tianchi because of the fog. It is best to hire a tour guide at the entrance of the scenic spot. They can contact their colleagues in the Tianchi Scenic Spot to confirm the real-time weather conditions, which will increase your chance of seeing Tianchi.
The guide to Tianchi says that the temperature on Tianchi is very different from that at the bottom of the mountain. You need to rent a coat. Only one of our friends rented it, and the other two girlfriends brought their own cotton clothes. , only Xiaozhe and I traveled lightly to resist the cold current on Tianchi. It turned out that the day we went was probably too warm, and we didn’t feel the biting cold wind.
I went to Tianchi. I did a lot of homework before going. It depends on whether the weather is good, because it is easier to see Tianchi on a sunny day, so book a hotel in advance! If you go in cold weather, remember to book a room with a big kang! Because it was not humid, it was still very warm. This trip proved that we were lucky and successfully saw the beautiful Tianchi.
Although the viewing angle of Tianchi from the north slope is not as good as that from the west slope, the angles are diverse. Some people say that the Tianchi seen from the north slope looks like an upright egg, while the view from the west slope looks like a lying egg.
The entire Tianchi viewing line is divided into A/B lines. The A line has a better angle because it can reach the highest point. It is recommended to take the A line first and then the B line. The wind at the top of the mountain is really strong and the temperature is much lower than at the bottom. I don’t have enough clothes. Be sure to rent a coat from the back-stop bus, otherwise you won’t be able to stay on the mountain for a few minutes.
In Changbai Mountain, eggs can be cooked by putting them in the hot springs. You must taste the taste of hot spring eggs when you get here.
