1. What materials do I need to apply for a passport?

1. The materials required to apply for a passport include:

(1) China citizens who have reached the age of 16 need to bring their ID cards and copies to apply for passports;

(2)/kloc-China citizens under the age of 0/6 are required to bring the original and photocopy of the household registration book and the baby's birth certificate, of which the photocopy of the ID card needs to be copied on the front and back, and the photocopy of the household registration book needs to be copied on the page where the head of the household and the manager are located;

(3) All handlers should carry two two-inch color photos.

2. Legal basis: Article 11 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

In any of the following circumstances, the passport holder may apply for a new or reissued passport in accordance with the regulations:

(1) The passport is about to expire;

(2) The passport visa page is about to run out;

(3) The passport is damaged and cannot be used;

(4) The passport is lost or stolen;

(5) Other circumstances in which a passport needs to be renewed.
