Basic information about the Libo Plum Blossom Festival

Libo’s 10,000 acres of plum trees are in Dongtang, Limingguan Shuizu Township. There are more than 20,000 acres of wild plum trees here, including the oldest in Guizhou There are about 300 varieties of wild plum trees. It is the largest concentrated contiguous wild plum forest in China and is known as "Ten miles of plum forest, ten thousand acres of plum forest".

It is worth mentioning that here, there are more than hundreds of rare and beautiful trees that are over 200 years old.

Every year around mid-January, the plum blossoms here bloom in early spring. Red plum, yellow plum, white plum, etc. Compete with each other to add a pop of color to late winter with a single hue.

Thousands of wild plum blossoms bloom every winter, and February is the best time to enjoy plum blossoms. Plum blossoms resemble dense fog, white clouds, cotton wool, and silver gauze, decorating the green karst primeval forest into a "southern snowfield."

From the end of January to the end of March, you can enjoy the spectacular sight of thousands of acres of wild plum blossoms. It is a good place for plum blossom viewing and leisure photography in winter.
