Introduction to Xihan Expressway Tourism?
The Xihan Expressway (Beijing-Kunming Expressway from Xi'an to Hanzhong Section) passes through the main mountain range of the Qinling Mountains, connects the Guanzhong Plain and the Hanzhong Plain, and leads to the Chengdu Plain. It is an important component of the national expressway from Beijing to Kunming in Shaanxi. It is also a key section in the main skeleton planning of Shaanxi Province's "three vertical, four horizontal and five radial" highways. Zhongda Consulting integrated relevant information and obtained the following information about Xihan Expressway tourism:
The construction of Xihan Expressway started in September 2002, with a construction period of 5 years, a total investment of 13.878 billion yuan, and a total length of 255 kilometers of the main line. , starting from Laoyukou of Hu County in the north, connecting to the Xi'an-Hu County Expressway, passing through 9 counties (districts) including Hu County, Ningshan, Shiquan, Foping, Yangxian, Chenggu, Nanzheng, Hantai, and Mian County , ends at Yuandun in Mian County in the south, and connects Mian County to Ningqiang Expressway. There are 13 interchanges and 5 comprehensive service areas along the entire line; there are 540 bridges and 136 tunnels along the line. Among them, the bridges and tunnels in the Huxian to Yangxian section account for 66% of the total length of the line.
The Xihan Expressway adopts two-way four lanes, a roadbed width of 26 meters (24.5 meters in mountainous sections), and a design driving speed of 100 kilometers per hour (80 kilometers per hour in mountainous and hilly areas). The Xihan Expressway is a construction project with the largest one-time investment, the longest mileage, and the most difficulty in the country's expressway construction at the same time. Its completion and opening to traffic has shortened the driving time from Xi'an to Hanzhong to 3 hours. It also marks the completion of the entire 625-kilometer expressway from the Shaanxi-Shanxi boundary to the Shaanxi-Sichuan boundary of the Beijing-Kunming Expressway.
Ecology, environmental protection and full of humanistic care
Many humanized service facilities have been added along the Xihan Expressway according to local conditions, snow protection shelters have been added at the tunnel entrances, and emergency facilities have been installed on long and steep sections. Emergency lanes, many temporary parking spots have been built along the corners and blind spots, and special parking and leisure areas have been set up in places with beautiful scenery; at the same time, it has broken the rigid model of the previous service area being closed to the outside world, and tried to build a semi-open service area. The introduction of local snacks and local specialties into the service area has created a way for local farmers to get rich, and also served the majority of drivers and passengers.
