Tourist visa application process:
Step 1:
Complete the visa electronic application form online (DS- 160).
Step 2:
Pay the visa application fee.
Step 3:
Make an appointment for an interview. To make an appointment for an interview, you need to provide the following three pieces of information:
- Passport number.
- The number on the visa application payment receipt.
- The ten (10) digit barcode number on the DS-160 confirmation page.
Step 4:
Please go to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General for an interview at the agreed time. Please bring with you a printout of your appointment slip, a printout of the DS-160 confirmation page, a recent photo taken within the last six months, and all old and new passports. If any of the above materials are missing, the application will not be accepted.
