Gaoyou City held a review meeting for the "Gaoyou Lake Tourism Development Concept Plan". The expert group headed by Professor Huang Zhenfang, director of the Tourism Department and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Normal University, unanimously agreed on the "Gaoyou Lake Tourism Development Concept Plan". The "Conceptual Plan for Tourism Development of Gaoyou Lake" was prepared by Dadi Landscape (Shanghai) Tourism Landscape Planning and Design Institute. The planning scope covers the part of Gaoyou Lake that is within the administrative division of Gaoyou City, as well as the city and Gaoyou Lake shoreline. It is widely connected to Gaoyou City, Lingtang Hui Township, Guoji Town, Mapeng Town and Jieshou Town. Planning content includes resources and evaluation, market analysis, positioning and strategy, spatial layout and detailed planning of zoning, etc.

He said that the Gaoyou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attach great importance to the preparation of the "Gaoyou Lake Tourism Development Concept Plan". By carefully reviewing the planning text, listening to reports from the planning preparation unit, and fully discussing and commenting, experts believe that the planning has conducted a comprehensive investigation of Gaoyou Lake’s development environment, tourism resources, tourist source markets, and competition and cooperation. Analysis, the basic work is relatively solid, the tourism development conditions are accurately grasped, and the evaluation is relatively objective; the tourism positioning is basically accurate, the development ideas are relatively clear, and it has guiding significance for the development and construction of the planning area and tourism development; the tourism functional divisions are clear, and the tourism space layout structure Basically reasonable, product and industrial element planning, marketing planning, security system planning and other contents are generally reasonable and feasible; the content is rich, the system is complete, and basically meets the requirements of relevant standards. At the same time, experts put forward opinions on further optimizing and improving tourism development positioning and related indicators, strengthening tourism project integration and creative planning.

The city leaders, relevant departments and township leaders who attended the meeting also put forward opinions and suggestions on further improving the planning plan.
