The first village in the world-Taierzhuang Ancient City

Taierzhuang ancient city, located in the center of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, is located at the junction of Taierzhuang District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province and four provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui. The ancient city began in Qin and Han Dynasties, developed in Tang and Song Dynasties and flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is called "the first village in the world" (thanks to Gan Qing and Long Ci).

The ancient city covers an area of 2 square kilometers, 1 1 functional division, 8 scenic spots and 29 scenic spots. It is the largest ancient city in China. As a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, it has the reputation of "the most beautiful water town in China".

The ancient city of Taierzhuang is called "the living ancient canal" and "the only remaining heritage village of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal" by the World Tourism Organization. The ancient city of Taierzhuang has ancient rivers, ancient docks, China ancient water city, Taierzhuang War Memorial Hall and cross-strait exchange bases. It is the only city in the world that was rebuilt as a world cultural heritage due to the destruction of artillery in the Second World War, and it is as famous as Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

On May 22-24, 2006, Zaozhuang Municipal People's Government attended a seminar on the protection and utilization of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Hangzhou. Members of the delegation and representatives of six provinces (municipalities) 18 cities along the canal adopted the Hangzhou Declaration on the Protection and Heritage Application of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

On April 8, 2008, at the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of Taierzhuang War, Zaozhuang Municipal People's Government officially announced the start of the reconstruction of Taierzhuang ancient city. Later, the ancient city rescue and protection agency was established to collect and sort out the preliminary data. The streets, docks, revetments and buildings of the ancient city were investigated comprehensively and deeply. All the existing historical sites and old buildings are photographed and classified and preserved, and eight architectural styles, such as European architecture, Huizhou architecture, northern architecture, Jiangsu and Zhejiang architecture, Shanxi, Guangdong, Guangxi and Fujian, are comprehensively understood, forming systematic photos and written materials. This paper mainly introduces Taishan Palace, Wenchang Pavilion, Xinguandi Temple, Sanguan Temple, Yuhuangge Temple, Dawang Temple, Longwang Temple, Luzu Temple, LaoGuandi Temple, Fire Temple, Zhunti Pavilion, Dongyue Tianqi Temple, Tiefo Temple, Cangmiao Temple, Eighteen Arhats Temple, North and South Mosques, Gaomiao Temple, Balu Temple and Jiulong Temple, and grasps the architectural position and style in detail. In the form of reading summary, online solicitation, on-site shooting, door-to-door solicitation, etc., more than 500 reference pictures of water street and water lane, ancient streets and lanes, ancient houses, ancient bridges, cruise ships, archways and ancient lamps were collected, and more than 20 related drawings of ancient city water system, land use, demolition, power supply, heating and water supply were drawn, collected and collated respectively.

Scenic spot

With the canal as the cultural axis, the framework of the ancient city has designed eight scenic spots, including Guandi Temple Scenic Spot, Ximen An Lan Scenic Spot, Xianfu Village Scenic Spot, Canal Market Scenic Spot, Banqiao-Huamenlou Scenic Spot, Shuijie Commercial Market Scenic Spot, Mosque-Jiulongkou Scenic Spot and Wetland Park. Corresponding to the eight scenic spots of the ancient Canal City, such as "Jiushui Huichuan, Taicheng Old Record, Tucun Green Shade, Wang Miao Fuyu, Lu 'an Wohong, Cooper Wangyue, Canal Market and Jaeger Ling Bo", 29 scenic spots, including the General Staff Department, Taishan Palace and Lanling Academy, have been planned and constructed. Eight architectural styles, such as North Courtyard, Lunan Residential Building, Huizhou Architecture, Shuicheng Architecture, Minnan Architecture, European Architecture, Religious Architecture and Hakka Architecture, are organically combined to build a bustling street with Huizhou architecture as the main style, a T-street with European architecture as the main style, a water street and a water lane with Shuicheng architecture as the main style, and a Guandi Temple scenic spot with Shanxi merchants architecture as the main style.
