Where is Sandun Scenic Area in Dahan?

Sandun, located at 10 km south of Procedural Town, is three small islands called Toudun, Erdun and Sandun respectively, which are collectively called "Sandun". There is also a small sand pier nearby, named Lou Shidun. The first pier is closest to the coast, and it is feasible to climb the pier at low tide, followed by the second pier and the third pier, which are far away. You have to cross the sea by boat to get there.

There are relics of ancient temples and wells on the dock, which was called "Longquan Single Crystal" in Qing Dynasty. These three docks are connected in a string, standing in the middle of the canyon, with extraordinary scenery, and are called "Yingzhou Lian Bi".

In the south beach area of Elton Island, large basalt boulders are exposed. These boulders are all formed by hot magma spouting or overflowing the surface and suddenly being cooled by seawater. The strong temperature gradient makes the surface of the boulder shrink differently, forming a turtle back pattern, which is vivid and can be called a great spectacle.

At present, the trestle of the Guangdong-Hainan Railway is built here, and the west breakwater runs through the first pier and the second pier, so that the pier island is connected with the land, and tourists can go there by car.

There is a 40-meter-high modern navigation lighthouse on Elton Island, where visitors can climb high and overlook, watch the tide and listen to the waves.
