Taizhou tourist attractions: Fengcheng River Scenic Area, Taizhou Garden, Anding Academy, Taizhou Old Street, Qiandao Cauliflower Scenic Area.

1. Fengcheng River Scenic Area

The scenic area is surrounded by water and is interesting because of the water, which vividly displays the characteristics of the Jiangnan water town. On the banks of the Fengcheng River, Wanghai Tower, the "first building of Jianghuai River", and its unique opera show the city's cultural heritage. The scenic spot is centered on Wanghai Tower and radiates from all sides, with Taoyuan and old streets echoing each other. Wanghai Tower was built in the Song Dynasty, and countless literati and poets left precious calligraphy treasures for it.

2. Taizhou Qiaoyuan

Qiaoyuan is located in the old town of Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, bordering Hailing North Road (formerly known as Baziqiao Straight Street) to the west and Baziqiao East Street to the south. The existing garden area is not large, but it is ingeniously designed and has a long history. It is known as the "No. 1 Garden in Huaizuo" and is now a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Jiangsu Province.

3. Anding Academy

Anding Academy was founded in the second year of Baoqing in the Southern Song Dynasty and is one of the oldest academies in Jiangsu Province. The main building is the Butterfly Hall. On the west side of the academy, there is an ancient ginkgo tree that is more than 960 years old. It has lush branches and leaves and is said to have been planted by Hu Yuan. It is lofty and broad, profound and intimate, ancient and fresh. Among the many relics in Taizhou, Anding Academy is the most profound, the most intellectual, and the most shocking of nostalgic pursuit of saints.

4. Taizhou Old Street

Taizhou Old Street is a scenic spot located in Hailing District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national AAA tourist attraction. Taizhou Old Street is not an old street in the true sense. Including the land in Taoyuan adjacent to it, it was originally a piece of farmland and villagers' residential land in Baoba Village in the eastern suburbs.

5. Qianduo Rapeseed Scenic Area

Every year during the Qingming Festival, the "Duo Tian" surrounded by water in Qianduo Scenic Area is covered with golden yellow rape flowers. The magnificent scenery of "rapeseed flowers blooming all over the ground" attracts many tourists. "There are thousands of bays in the river and plenty of clear water, and there is no field without yellow flowers." This is the true portrayal of the cauliflower in the fields in Xinghua. Nowadays, the lotus pond in Qianduo Scenic Area is even greener and has another romantic scene.
