Handan has a history of 3 100 years. As the capital of Zhao in the Warring States Period, it is one of the five major capitals in the Han Dynasty. It is an important transportation hub and a national historical and cultural city in Hebei Province. Here's how to play in Handan and what scenic spots to visit.

About Handan

Handan, a national historical and cultural city, is the most famous capital of Zhao, one of the Seven Heroes of the Warring States Period. Of course, Handan is also the capital of idioms and allusions, and the most famous one is Handan Travel. In addition, there are idioms and allusions such as "Apologize", "Return everything to Zhao" and "priceless" all from Handan. In addition, Handan is also known as the "hometown of Taiji", and Yang Luchan, the great teacher, is a native of Yongnian, Handan.

Handan East Taihang Scenic Area is located in Taihang Mountain District, Handan City, Hebei Province. It was invested and opened to the public in September 2008. The network celebrity glass plank road, which is "broken when you step on it", is located in this scenic spot.

Although it is located in Handan, it is close to Xingtai. Get off at the Luo Lu exit of Xingtai-Shanxi Expressway (Xingfen Expressway) and go straight along S202 (Shexian and Jingniang Lake) to reach the East Taihang Scenic Area.

Guangfu Ancient City

Guangfu Ancient City, with the earliest recorded history of more than 2,600 years, was a fief during the Warring States Period, and Dou Jiande established its capital here at the end of Sui Dynasty. Guangfu Ancient City is also the hometown of Tai Ji Chuan, China, and the birthplace of Yang-style Tai Ji Chuan and Wu-style Tai Ji Chuan. The main names are: crisp fish, donkey meat sausage, elbow, sugar and so on.

The biggest scenic spots in Guangfu Ancient City are only Wu Jia Courtyard, Wu Yuxiang's former residence and Tongjia Courtyard, which are relatively well-preserved large-scale houses in Qing Dynasty. However, the children's courtyard is not included. You need to buy a ticket separately if you visit. In addition, the newly-built government office has not yet been opened. In addition to the above attractions, the whole Guangfu ancient city looks similar to most villages and towns in the north.

Online celebrity glass plank road

The East Taihang glass plank road is located at the upper waist of the first peak "Longtou Cliff" at the eastern end of the scenic spot, and it is named after "one step break". The picture below shows Longtou Cliff. The glass plank road is U-shaped, surrounding the mountain peak with an altitude of 1000 meters. It is more than 260 meters long and 2 meters wide.

On the one hand, it is a cliff, on the other hand, it has experienced many twists and turns.

Yunduanplank road

As the name implies, the plank road goes straight into the sky and is built on a kilometer cliff.

In my opinion, the plank road, including the glass plank road, is the biggest highlight of this scenic spot and is worth seeing.

As for other scenery, it should be very general, especially the water flow is rare. Several scenic spots in the northern part of Taihang Mountain (in Xingtai) have abundant springs and numerous waterfalls.

The mountains here are mainly characterized by seasonal sandstone peak forest landscape, cliffs, rugged rocks, majestic mountains and magnificent scenery. The plank road is built on a cliff at an altitude of 1000 meters, with a cliff on one side and an abyss on the other. Walking on it will definitely exercise your courage.
