Bogala underground great wall

In Longbang Town, a small border town in Jingxi, a Sino-Vietnamese golden tourist belt in Guangxi, there is a unique border adventure tourist attraction, namely the "Underground Great Wall" in Bogala. The underground project of Bogala, built in 1892, has always been the national defense military base of China. After years of construction, the fortifications in the mountain are integrated with the surrounding terrain. With Bogala Mountain as the center, there is a nine-layer tunnel defense system, and the tunnel is connected with the surrounding mountains. More than ten kilometers of underground fortifications meander through dozens of underground caves in the mountains of the border pass, forming a strange military maze. Underground fortifications have different functions, such as defending against fire and water attacks, infantry tanks, aircraft cannons, cruise missiles and nuclear bombs. At the same time, they have an underground control and command center for observation and communication, command and dispatch, and station troops to attack. The design is scientific, the project is grand, and the defense is solid. By setting up strong light and dark bunkers to guard, we can open the doors of thick and strong fortifications made of titanium steel and walk into the reinforced concrete pouring tunnel. Outpost, command post, arsenal, barracks, underground hospital and facilities such as pumping water and transporting grain are all available.

Shierdaomen

Shierdaomen is located at the top of Qixing Mountain, south of Long Bang 1 km, 42km away from Jingxi County. It is a disk-shaped military fortress built under the top of the mountain. Built in the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892), it was made of large stones. This fortress, 3 1.5m long, 22.5m wide and 1 1.4m high, covers an area of 708.3m2, and the top is covered with a soil layer one or two meters thick. * * * There are 12 arches, which are connected with the inner castle through 12 passages with a width of 1 m, hence the name "Twelve Gates". North of the main entrance, the front door is engraved with the words "border people stay forever", and the front door is engraved with "twelve gates" or "twelve gates". The back tunnels connected behind the arch crisscross to form a plane of plum blossom fortress, in which five stone steps pass through the top. People who don't understand the structure are prone to make mistakes. There are granaries, pools, ammunition depots, observation posts, hidden departments and so on. In the fortress, 50 or 60 soldiers can be stationed, and there are multiple gun positions at the top. Outside the fortress, along the hillside, there is a semi-circular trench, which is a frontier position.
