What are the fun places in Hong Kong? Five days of family travel in Hong Kong

Many of the guides in Hong Kong are for traveling with friends or for couples on their honeymoon. There has never been a strategy for parent-child travel, but I think what is most needed is a strategy for parent-child travel. After all, an unstable factor is the factor that has the greatest impact on the trip.

Check-in: Wong Yue Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui, Imperial Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong

If you have children, it is recommended to stay in the same hotel all the time, because Children have a lot of things to do when going out. When staying in several hotels, you have to consider the time difference between check-out and check-in.

Current location After get off work, Dingdang's father will take us directly to the airport. This flight time is very good, it leaves at 19:30, no need to ask for leave. Wuxi Airport is very small. It is said that for Hong Kong Express tickets, you only need to fill in your name and Hong Kong and Macau pass number when booking, and other information will be filled in when checking in. As a low-cost airline, most services are charged, so I didn’t check in in advance to select my seat. Because I am less than 2 years old, Dingdang still issues baby tickets. The luggage allowance for express delivery is calculated based on weight, not the number of pieces. The attitude of the ground staff is also very good. You will also be alerted if you need to check something else before reaching the weight.

When I went to Hong Kong for the first time, I took the double-decker bus at the airport. It was quite convenient to get to Kowloon. But this time I was married with children, so I bought the airport express in advance. Compare several and place a single hive. After leaving the airport, buy an Octopus first, then take the Airport Express directly to Kowloon Station (I bought it for a round trip from Kowloon), exchange it for a physical ticket at the Kowloon information desk, and swipe your card to exit the station. On your return journey, you can check-in and check-in directly in Kowloon, and then you can easily take the express train to the airport. With the Airport Express ticket, you can also take the shuttle bus to major hotels for free. It was late when we arrived in Kowloon, and the last free minibus was gone, so we took a taxi to the hotel. Hong Kong taxis don’t give change.

The first day

The hotel is on the edge of Nathan Road. Visiting Tsim Sha Tsui is very convenient. I went to Harbor City in the morning and there was no discount. We went directly to Equatorial Guinea at noon. Nowadays, you can pay in RMB and Hong Kong dollars in many places in Hong Kong, and the exchange rate is pretty good, and most of them can be paid with Alipay or UnionPay, so I didn’t bring much cash. As a result, Zhiji took a long walk on the way to the Star Ferry Pier.

You must go to IFC Apple, although there is nothing to buy. Because I was married and had a child, and the weather was hot, I went back to the hotel to take a nap in the afternoon. If you are married and have children, please remember to buy more Hong Kong calling cards in advance, the 7-day kind. I bought one this time, so my grandpa didn’t dare to go out alone for fear of not being able to contact him. After taking a nap, we went to the Golden Bauhinia Square and the top of Victoria Peak. There is nothing in Golden Bauhinia, but as the pride of Chinese people, I still want to go there once. I happened to encounter an air patrol plane flying back, so cool!

Remember to buy physical tickets for the Peak Tram and Skyscraper in advance. The queue on site was spectacular. I usually buy a one-way ticket and take the minibus directly to Lan Kwai Fong on the return trip. This time my grandparents were not interested in wax figures, so I didn’t go to Madame Tussauds.

The next day

It was a little late to go out and buy a jet with the kids. It is recommended to purchase online in advance. The disadvantage of buying in advance is that the time is fixed and the itinerary cannot be changed. However, it is also very convenient to go shopping one day in advance in Hong Kong. The main reason is that I didn't bring Dingdang's father with me this time. The trip was really delayed. I didn't even go to the central escalator or take the Ding Qiyuan bus. Buy a return ticket at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and take the Venetian bus directly to the Venetian. Note that children are not allowed on buses in Lisboa.

When I came back from Macau, I happened to go to Victoria Harbor to watch "A Symphony of Lights". The Avenue of Stars was under maintenance and I didn't see anything.

The third day

Wandering around Mong Kok, I didn’t get any good food this time. I specially went to Jinhua Ice House and ate the award-winning Western toast. The environment is crowded and not worth going. You must go to Tian, ??Temple Street Night Market and Taixing Roast Meat. The lady is delicious. If you are buying low-end cosmetics, it is recommended to go to Joyo. The price is cheaper than SASA, and there are discounts for Alipay payment. Milk powder in Hong Kong is not as cheap as that in Japan, so we don’t sell it. Remember to look for government certification at pharmacies. You can also buy some cards, compared with Deyun Society, as well as medicine and oil. There are many snack bars on the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui where you can buy some handwritten letters. I bought bacon and almond cookies in Macau before. Remember to eat the Macau pork chop buns. I didn’t take pictures of food this time, so I borrowed some old pictures.

Grandma said she was not interested in Hong Kong food. This time she ate a lot of 711 rice rolls and fish eggs, but they were all delicious. I bought McDonald's for Ding Dong. The packaging is cute. The key is that the toys are fun!

Day 4

When you go to Hong Kong, you must have morning tea. Prices are different on weekdays, weekends, and before 11 o'clock. When I went there, it was the weekend. I didn't have any special set menu, so I just ate some. After visiting Kowloon Park, I went to Repulse Bay. Disney and Ocean Park were not on the agenda this time.

First, I have just been to Japan and played in Hong Kong before. Tinker Bell is too young and doesn’t know how to play with anything, and my grandparents also expressed no interest. However, I will still consider taking Dingdang on a 3-day trip to DisneySea Park in the future.

Day 5

On the noon flight, I slept in and went to Kowloon to check in and sign in. Construction is going on everywhere and the traffic is still there, so just go home! Ending with an old photo of Yau Ma Tei Police Station.
