Brief introduction of Mudanjiang Normal University School of Politics and Law

In the second half of 25, in order to meet the needs of discipline construction in Mudanjiang Teachers College, the college integrated the educational resources of the whole school, and the history education specialty of the former Department of Political Science and Law was separated and the history department was established. The tourism management major of the former Department of Political Science and Law merged with the Department of Business Administration to form the Department of Management; The Department of Political Science and Law merged with the former Social Science Department to form the current Department of Political Science and Law.

The Department of Political Science and Law currently has two majors: ideological and political education (four-year normal undergraduate course) and law (four-year non-normal undergraduate course). In addition, the Department of Political Science and Law also undertakes the teaching task of ideological and political theory courses for college students. Among them, the major of ideological and political education is a national specialty, a Heilongjiang specialty and a key specialty. It has two provincial-level excellent courses, Introduction to Law and Marxist Political Economy, and a provincial-level teaching teacher. It has two master's degree disciplines of Marxist principles and ideological and political education, and 13 master's tutors. There are 7 teaching and research sections.

There are 4 full-time teachers in the Department of Political Science and Law. Among them, there are 1 professor, 7 lecturers and 21 teaching assistants (including trainee teaching assistants). Among them, there are 5 doctoral students (1 is studying), and 84% of the full-time teachers have a master's degree or above.

There are 51 undergraduates and 5 postgraduates in the Department of Political Science and Law.

Over the past p>3 years, the Department of Political Science and Law has trained more than 2, college graduates for the society, of which more than 21 have obtained doctoral and master's degrees from more than 2 domestic universities such as China Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Nankai University, China Renmin University and Beijing Normal University. Nearly 1 people have served as doctoral tutors, master tutors, professors and associate professors in East China Normal University, Xiamen University, cfau, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Ningbo University and Nanjing Normal University. More than 1 people who hold leading positions in education at prefecture, city and county levels have been rated as excellent teachers at the national and provincial levels, making positive contributions to China's vigorous socialist modernization.
